Route Description
Usually, Kindle Road is the first of the things players will notice that is different about the Sevii Islands. Whereas in other regions, routes between places were designated by numbers, for example Route 17 in Kanto, Route 38 in Johto, and Route 132 in Hoenn, the routes in the Sevii Islands are not numbered from 47 to 100, as would be expected, to bridge the gap between Johto's and Hoenn's routes, but are instead named.
Kindle Road's main features include a large area to traverse on foot (to the left) or by Surfing (to the right), followed by a brief trek across a beach area, including the road's famous hot springs, and finally an area that must be Surfed across to arrive at Mt. Ember. The road northward is virtually packed with trainers and Pokémon, and Kindle Road is also the only place where players can capture wild Ponyta and Rapidash in this generation, two of the three Generation I Pokémon which cannot be obtained in Kanto, as they once were able to be.
Ember Spa
Kindle Road is home to the Ember Spa. The spa is a hot spring where trainers can relax and heal their Pokémon. It is also where players can find HM06.
