Release information
- This card was reprinted in the Base Set 2 reprint set, which was only released outside of Japan. It was also reprinted by Wizards of the Coast in reverse holofoil as a Best of Game promotional card.
- A special reprint with the same artwork by Ken Sugimori was released in the Platinum set. This print modified some of the card text to bring it in line with modern card wording whilst still allowing it to retain its original effects.
Trivia
Origin
ThunderShock and ThunderPunch are both moves in the Pokémon games that can be learned by Electabuzz. This card's flavor text comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, though it is slightly reworded. The Platinum Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon FireRed.
