Earthquake (Japanese: じしん Earthquake) is a very damaging Ground-type move introduced in Generation I, often used in competitive battling.

Generation I
Earthquake does damage.
Generation II and on
Earthquake does double damage if the opponent is in the underground (first turn) stage of Dig.
Generation III and IV
Earthquake hits all other Pokémon in a double battle, including the user's partner.
