This card was released as a promotional card. In Japan, it was included with Pokémon Trading Card Game for the Game Boy Color. The card was never released in English.

- This card displays a 'GB' symbol in place of the Expansion symbol, indicating it was originally created exclusively for the Game Boy.
- This is one of the four Legendary Cards, which are central to the plot of Pokémon Trading Card Game, and its sequel Pokémon Card GB2: Here Comes Team GR!. It is the only one to be released as an actual card.
