Release information

This card was included in the Diamond & Pearl expansion with artwork by Nakaoka, first released in the Japanese Space-Time Creation expansion.. It was reprinted with different artwork by Daisuke Ito as one of the DP-P Promotional cards in Japan, available through a McDonald's promotion in May 2007. This print was never released in English. It was reprinted again with different artwork by Nakaoka in the Japanese Dialga LV.X Constructed Standard Deck as both a Holo and Non Holo card. The Non Holo print was later included in the Great Encounters expansion, while the Holofoil print was included in the Eternal Time Theme Deck. The card was printed yet again as one of the DP Black Star Promos with another different artwork by Kazuyuki Kano. It was released in the Dialga Premium Box on August 5, 2008 as both a regular and Jumbo card. The regular print is Cosmos Holofoil while the Jumbo print features either Mirror Holofoil or Cracked Ice Holofoil. In Japan, this print was released through a Meiji Chocolate promotion in July 2007. A Great Encounters print with the Platinum logo was given away with the 2009 Burger King promotional Pokémon toys in June 2009. The DP Black Star Promotional print was later included in the Platinum Series Collection released in December 2009.

Trivia

The Great Encounters print erroneously credits Daisuke Ito as the illustrator, who illustrated the Japanese-exclusive DP-P Promotional card print. The correct illustrator is Nakaoka.

Origin
