Deoxys (Japanese: デオキシス Deoxys) is a Psychic-type Basic Pokémon card. It is part of the EX Deoxys expansion.

Card text

Form Change フォルムチェンジ

Once during your turn (before your attack), you may search your deck for another Deoxys and switch it with Deoxys. (Any cards attached to Deoxys, damage counters, Special Conditions, and effects on it are now on the new Pokémon.) If you do, put Deoxys on top of your deck. Shuffle your deck afterward. You can't use more than 1 Form Change Poké-Power each turn.

Barrier Attack バリアアタック 20

During your opponent's next turn, any damage done to Deoxys by attacks is reduced by 30 (after applying Weakness and Resistance).

In Japan, this card was released as a promotional card in the August 2004 edition of Shōgakukan magazine.

Trivia

Origin

The Form Change Poké-Power references the ability of Deoxys to change into multiple forms. This card is based on its Defense Forme, which it takes on in Pokémon LeafGreen. Barrier Attack is named similarly to Barrier, a move in the Pokémon games, though Deoxys cannot learn it.
