Release information
This card was released as both a Regular and a Full Art card in the Dark Explorers expansion. The Regular print features artwork by Shizurow, while the Full Art print features artwork by 5ban Graphics. This card was later released as one of the BW Black Star Promos with new artwork by Toyste Beach and was included in the Legendary EX Tins released in September 2012.
The original Regular print was later reprinted in Japan as part of the Master Deck Build Box EX, released on September 14th, 2012. The BW Promotional print was eventually released in Japan and available as a prize for accumulating 10 PokéCard Points at the Battle Carnival 2013 Spring. 1 PokéCard Point was awarded for participating in eligible events at each Battle Carnival 2013 Spring venue. These events included the 3 on 3 Battle, the Limited Battle, the One Day Battle, and the Gym Leader & Team Plasma Challenge. This print features the Battle Carnival 2013 Spring logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration window. The original Regular print was reprinted again in the Japanese EX Battle Boost.
