This card was included in the Team Rocket expansion, first released in the Japanese Rocket Gang expansion. A version with a W Wizards stamp was given away as part of a Kraft Foods Giveaway in Australia. It was later reprinted in Japan in the Pokémon Web expansion.

Trivia

The How I Became a Pokémon Card chapter Team Rocket and Dark Charmeleon is a story about the Charmeleon that appears on this card.

Origin

Tail Slap is a move later introduced in the Generation V Pokémon games; however, the Japanese names are not the same, making this attack and the move unrelated.
