This card was included in the Team Rocket expansion as both a Holofoil and Non Holofoil card, first released in the Japanese Rocket Gang expansion as a Holofoil card. The Holofoil print was later reprinted in the Japanese Pokémon Web expansion. The Holofoil print was later reprinted in the Legendary Collection expansion. It was reprinted as a Non Holofoil card in the Turmoil Theme Deck.

Although this Pokémon is level 28, Wartortle does not evolve into Blastoise until level 36.
Origin
Hydro Cannon, formatted on this card as Hydrocannon, is a move later introduced in the Generation III Pokémon games that Blastoise can learn. The Japanese name of Hydro Cannon is spelled ハイドロキャノン rather than ハイドロカノン as in the games.
