Going back home, Dawn and her friends arrive in time for the Twinleaf Town Festival where a Contest will be held. Dawn will be facing her mother Johanna. Who will win?

- The flowers in Johanna's garden look strikingly similar to Gracideas.
- The Rapidash shown in this episode seemed smaller than other Rapidash shown. Its size was equivalent to that of Ponyta.

- Daisuke Sakaguchi is credited for voicing Brock's Sudowoodo, even though Sudowoodo didn't appear in this episode.
