This card was released as a promotional card. In Japan, it came with the July 2001 issue of CoroCoro Comic. The card was never released in English.

Trivia

  • The card text on the top right of the card border reads: "Theater version Pocket Monsters 2000 "Lord of the Unknown Tower" special jumbo card".
  • The card text on the bottom of the card border features the CoroCoro logo and reads: "Monthly CoroCoro Comics: August issue supplement".
  • This card was released as a Jumbo card and was therefore not legal to use in tournaments or official events.
