Covet (Japanese: ほしがる Covet) is a Normal-type move introduced in Generation III that deals a small amount of damage.

Effect

The user attacks and takes the foe's held item. The item cannot be stolen if the user is already holding an item, the foe is not holding an item, or the foe has the Sticky Hold ability. The item also cannot be stolen when a wild Pokémon uses this move on the player's Pokémon.
