Trivia
The card's name is inaccurate. There is no location called Cinnabar City; Blaine's Gym is located on a place called Cinnabar Island, and the card's name technically should be Cinnabar Island Gym. This is likely due to the fact that it has been literally translated from the Japanese Guren Town Gym, with "City" applied as all of the other Gym-related cards in the set do. The original oversight was made by MediaFactory, replacing "Island" with "Town."
Origin
This card is based on the Cinnabar Gym, where Trainers can challenge Blaine for the Volcano Badge in the Pokémon games.
