Charizard (Japanese: リザードン Lizardon) is a Fire-type Stage 2 Pokémon card. It is part of the Expedition Base Set.

Once during your turn (before your attack), you may turn all basic Energy cards attached to all of your Pokémon into Energy for the rest of the turn. This power can't be used if Charizard is affected by a Special Condition.

Flip 2 coins. If 1 of them is tails, discard 2 Energy cards attached to Charizard. If both are tails, discard all Energy cards attached to Charizard.

Trivia

Origin

Scorching Whirlwind is based on Fire Spin, a move in the Pokémon games that Charizard can learn. Also, as a whole this card seems to be heavily based on the Base Set's Charizard; Burning Energy has nearly the same effect as that card's Energy Burn, and Scorching Whirlwind functions as a more powerful, but riskier, version of Fire Spin.
