Charizard 'M (Japanese: アネデパミ Anedepami) is a dual-type Fire/Flying glitch Pokémon found in Pokémon Red and Blue. It occupies hexadeximal slot FF and is a hybrid of Charizard. It is not related to Glitchy Charizard, who can only be found in Pokémon Yellow.

The only way to obtain a Charizard 'M is by trading. It can be obtained by trading a Q from Pokémon Yellow, or a Hex FF variant of ????? from a Generation II game back to Generation I.

Glitches caused

In the party

Whenever Charizard 'M is in the party, all of the Pokémon below it will be invisible, because it is treated as the cancel button. The party will then be unable to be healed at any Pokémon Center and can only be healed via items. If Charizard 'M is moved to the bottom of the party, all other Pokémon will once again be visible and will be able to be healed at a Pokémon Center. Once Charizard 'M faints, it can only be healed by using a Revive or similar item.

ID number and original Trainer

Unlike other glitch Pokémon, a Charizard 'M's ID number is always #000 and its original Trainer will either be blank or a set of letters, partially from the player's name. As a result, it is impossible to nickname a Charizard 'M. Its cry is static and sometimes causes the background music to end.
