E-Reader "instruction card"

This card was released as a promotional card. In Japan, it was available to visitors at the Tokyo Nintendo Space World, held in August 2001. The English version of the card was obtainable by buying a ticket to the cinema showing of Celebi: Voice of the Forest and was packaged with a double-sided e-reader "instruction card". This version of Celebi was reprinted on the EX Series card design exclusively in English and released as Nintendo Black Star Promo #29. The card was available in EX Value Pack 2 and also the EX Collector's Carry Tin.

Trivia

  • The Wizards version was the first English promotional card to feature the aesthetic changes made to the cards in the e-Card series. It also features the "Celebi: Voice of the Forest" logo underneath the illustration.
  • The Wizards version miscredits the artist as "Hajime Kusajim". This is corrected for the Nintendo version.
