Why do we need this category? And do the Pokémon articles really need "recommended moveset" sections? --Shiningpikablu252 15:33, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

It is to help people who want to have a competitive team. --Shiny Noctowl 15:34, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
And the category is to help keep track of which fully evolved Pokémon have been given the recommended moveset and which ones still need it. --Shiny Noctowl 15:35, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
Still, I'm not so sure if we need this. In theory, every Pokémon could have a recommended moveset. I'm leaning towards not keeping it, but I'd like to get some more opinions first. --PAK Man Talk 15:40, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
I don't much like the idea of a recommended moveset section. That seems beyond the scope of what we do here. More strategy than encyclopedic content. Furthermore, everyone has their own style, and there are so many possibilities of move combos and team members, that you can't really put any one moveset. Some moves may even depend on having other Pokémon (especially strategies that utilise Wish or U-Turn). No, sir, I don't much like the idea. --DarkfireTaimatsu 19:48, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
Nor do I. Perhaps on a subpage of the Pokémon if anything, but "recommended movesets" seem a little bit... well, stupid and overbearing. Isn't Pokémon about thinking up your own strategy anyway? What fun would it be to compete if everyone had the same Pokémon with the same moves? Not fun. At all. Of course... Imprison would finally have at least some use. TTEchidna 09:00, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
