Carnivine (Japanese: マスキッパG[ギンガ] Masukippa G [Galactic]) is a Grass-type Pokémon G card. It is one of the DP Black Star Promos, originating as one of the DPt-P Promotional cards.

	Power Whip パワーウィップ
Choose 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. This attack does 10 damage for each Energy attached to Carnivine to that Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)

	Grass Knot くさむずび	20+
Does 20 damage plus 10 more damage for each Energy in the Defending Pokémon's Retreat Cost (after applying effects to the Retreat Cost).

Release information

Upon the release of Galactic's Conquest, Carnivine and four other promotional cards were made available to anyone who bought two booster packs from the expansion. These cards were the first available cards from the DPt-P promotional series. The English release of the card was for the Rising Rivals Blister Pack.

Trivia

On the English print of the card, the card's HP reads "80HP" instead of "HP80" as is typical of a Generation IV-era card

Origin

Power Whip and Grass Knot are both moves in the Pokémon games that Carnivine can learn. The Japanese name of Grass Knot uses the Hiragana ず rather than the Katakana す used in the video games.
