Camouflage (Japanese: ほごしょく Camouflage) is a non-damaging Normal-type move introduced in Generation III. It is the signature move of Staryu in that generation.

Generation III
Camouflage changes the Pokémon's type to a type corresponding to the battlefield terrain.
In a link battle, Camouflage will cause the user to become Normal-type.

Generation IV
Like Generation III, Camouflage will change the user's type depending on the environment; however, locations have changed and been added.

Trivia
- Kecleon is able to blend in with its surroundings with its ability Color Change. However, it is unable to learn Camouflage. This is possibly because Color Change would likely change Kecleon's type just after it had used Camouflage.
- No Generation II or III Pokémon can learn this move (with the obvious exception of Smeargle).
