Butwal Island (Japanese: クネンボ島 Kunenbo Island) is an island in the northeastern region of the Orange Archipelago.
The island is particularly lush and green. There are also rivers, waterfalls, and mountains. It is known for having lots of wild plants on the island that Pokémon love to eat. The island is too small to have an airport or a seaport, so supplies of Pokémon food from Valencia Island are parachuted onto the island weekly by plane.
It was explored in Pokémon Food Fight, when Ash and friends met Gulzar.
Its English name may refer to the sweet citrus found in Butwal, Nepal. Its Japanese name is another name for the mandarin.
