Release information
A promotional version with a gold foil snowflake stamp was one of 24 cards released in the Pokémon Countdown Calendar in October 2008. A Cosmos Holofoil promotional print was also released in Japan as part of the DP Card Exchange campaign in November 2007. The card was reprinted in POP Series 7 with different artwork by the same artist, originating from the Dialga LV.X Constructed Standard Deck.

The "Plant Cloak" part of Burmy's name is a subcategorization of the card in the event that it evolves into its respective Wormadam form. However, if it evolves into Mothim, this subcategorization does not apply.
Origin
Plant Cloak Tackle is similar to Tackle, a move in the Pokémon games that Burmy can learn. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Diamond.
