Transparency
This is a huge issue with sprites. You guys HAVE TO MAKE SURE THE BACKGROUND IS TRANSPARENT. Seriously. What if someone wanted to use them in a colored table, like a usertag? You'd have white in the way! TTEchidna 06:55, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

- I'll get Tarscor to do that for me. I not sure if it is just my program, but it does not do it correctly, so I have to select every single pixel, one by one and delete it. Images
Some of the images (like Maria, Scyther) have bad backgrounds.... could you fix those and remember to do so in the future? ht14 23:06, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

Ash's Squirtle
I don't want to offend anybody, but the custom sprite for Ash's Squirtle looks a little awkward. I tried and created a new one, and it still looks a little strange, but I think it looks better than the current one. Since I shouldn't just randomly upload it and erase the other image, I'm posting it here to see if it's okay to replace the image.
I think the left side still needs work, but I'm really not sure how to fix it. Anyways, here it is! - s.Combusken 04:14, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

Wait a minute...
Is this supposed to be Costumed Sprite Project, or Custom Sprite Project? I always thought you had it at "costumed" because the subjects of the sprites could be seen as wearing costumes, but if you're trying to say they're customized...

If you want to go eppy order, Luverin should be like after Orville, and Jessie's Dustox after Isis's Bibarel. Reddy should be before Orville. Ash's Butterfree should be after Squirtle--KukiTalk 19:42, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

- Bayleef never had the headband. I saw the episode, the headband vanished when it evolved from Chikorita.

- Who's "you"? Are you talking about me? This is a Custom Sprite project. Creating WHOLE new sprites is NOT the idea here. Even if I made it, we won't be able to use it here...so there's mainly no point unless someone is using is for their user pages. How long? It all depends on what sprite you're making. It would usually take from a few minutes (including transparent background, saving, etc...) to 45 minutes depending if you are drawing a harder sprite or a easier one; character or Pokémon...it all depends. But in some cases, if the sprite is too hard, it might not take 45 min, it might take FOREVER!--☆Tavisource 01:54, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

- Primeape is different. If you look on Spurt!, Butterfree is wearing the scarf, but Primeape doesn't have the belt. The belt is like a trophy...anyways, it's not something you wear all day long. I don't have the pic anymore. Sorry. Anyways, Dustox and Butterfree is different. They were RELEASED with the scarf and ribbon. Structure
I have no idea what this is supposed to mean: "All rejected ideas must have an adequate purpose and stated reasons."
But if it means "you can't delete an image without giving a reason that we agree with" then that goes double for uploading them in the first place. Burden of proof for their usefulness is on you guys. Different Patterned Pokémon
Should the different patterned Butterfree and Vileplume be made? The controversy comes in because sprites shouldn't be made for Pokémon with different patterns. Spinda for example, had many patterns. We're not going to make a sprite for each of the million Spinda, right? But for this Butterfree and Vileplume, they aren't just different patterned, but different colored. Shadow Lugia's sprite
There's something bothering me about the current XD001 sprite, and I wanted to know if it's intentional or not... It's 4 pixels over the vertical height of other sprites... And it has small errors on it, like the upper edges of its belly pattern, and white eyes (they're actually an orangish-pink, both ingame and on the game cover). I have a sprite that corrects the 80x84 down to 80x80 and smoothes out the strange notch of the skipe that XD001 doesn't have, and corrects the collor issues of the pale parts being too pale. The only problem is that I can't transparentize it... (pure white is the color to transparentize, it's not used anywhere on the sprite itself, I made sure of that.)

I know that I'm not part of the project, but I really appreciate custom sprites, so what about one for Jun? Maybe it should be put on the Jun page. Like, I guess it would be made with Pearl's DP sprite but he would wear the Platinum Pokétch. I'm not really sure how to make custom sprites and I'm not part of the project so, if anyone wants to make one, that would be cool. - In Pokémon Fashion Flash, Jesse and James dressed up some Pokémon at Salon Rockét. Should there be custom sprites for those?
- When Ash was turned into Pikachu, becoming Ashachu. There could be a sprite for Ashachu.

Hello guys! Uhmm, I'm new to Bulbapedia, kinda. Spotless Spinda?

It's to use in the spritebox and other places where we specificlly want the Emerald sprite. It doesn<t necessarilly have to go in the to-do list nor does it have to be an "official" part of the project. Thanks again Tavi, but would you mind reuploading it in .gif format since that seems to be what Emerald sprites are traditionally uploaded as. In fact, upload it here:Spr 3e 327.gif. Requirements to be a sprite editor
I think maybe we should have a list of requirements users need to pass before we let them upload any sprites. First off they HAVE to know how to use Paint or Photoshop. And maybe they can send us an example of what they can do. Just to prevent this from happening again. Venustoise?

In Tyrogue (Pokémon)#In the anime there is a picture of a Tyrogue wearing a blue scarf which would later belong to Kiyo. Having never seen the article in question, I wouldn't know if it kept the scarf, but it might be worth checking out (especially since it belonged to somone with a fairly major NPC game counterpart).--MisterE13 23:41, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

Remeber the Poliwag that max used? Remeber it had a tag thing on its tail? I noticed there wasn;t a custom sprie for it so how do I add it?
