A checkuser is a special class of administrator on Bulbapedia and other MediaWiki establishments that is able to check the IPs of a user as well as the users which have edited from a specific IP. This makes them useful for hunting out sockpuppets and vandals.

Users which are at the Administrator level or above may request to be made into checkusers after two months have passed since they were granted power initially.
