Support (9)

  • Seriously one of the best users out there. Im suprised that he is not already an admin.--DCM((Nag at Me!Edits))
  • Support. I was thinking of nominating him myself, but I try to only nominate one person per month. Chocolate 21:45, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
  • Support. Good editor, makes lots of contribs, and is one of the few cool heads on this board. I'm also somewhat surprised he's not an admin as well. ←{Berrymaster|Talk|Contrib}→ 22:49, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
  • As to not sound redundant, all of the above. --HoennMaster 01:01, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
  • alright guy, got on ma nerves but cool in other terms.--Darkrai breeder LiEkS mUdKiP 23:38, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
    • He doesn't want to be admin. At least read the discussion before responding, or else this process will never work. --Raijinili 03:41, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
  • Edits userspace a lot, but this happens to just put him in a good position for a few more administration tasks. I don't think he'd abuse the abilities. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 22:24, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
  • Very nice, at least when I asked him about using a table, lots of mainspace edits, good, well-rounded editor. And very knowledgeable to coding. --PsychicRider 22:31, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
  • Support-it's nice seeing all these people go all the way to the top (*sobber*)...some of which came after me, so I had the chance to watch them grow.(*sniffle*)..unlike me, they are probably not going to be rejected....especially Optimatum who has worked very hard to work his way up...(*sniff*)....yes, nice to see....the user who was once mistaken to be the revival of Ph34r...nice edits, nice contribs...no reason to oppose, Optimatum...don't oppose yourself...it's a very non-selfish thing to do, but let the other users decide.--Tavisource 08:58, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
  • Support-Has a great sense of humor and would liven up the bulbapedia community, seems to take it seriously enough, hes got my vote.--Smartkidhen 2:45, 12 November 2008 (UTC)

Oppose (5)

  • He said on his talk page recently that he did not want to become an admin (yet). I don't know the procedure for closing on the basis of "The user was not informed, and in fact said no three days ago," so I'm voting against him in his place. --Raijinili 05:12, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
    • If he doesn't want to be promoted, he can simply say so and the nomination will be ended right there. I believe it's happened at least once before by request, if you look at the Rejected Nominations section. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 02:25, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
      • Well, it's hard to turn down a nomination that you don't know about. --Raijinili 03:13, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
  • He got blocked before and he edits the userspace too much. Θρtιmαtum♏Talk|Links 06:19, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
    • But does he doesn't afraid of anything? --Raijinili 06:50, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
  • Too less contributions to the mainspace. MathijsP 07:15, 2 November 2008 (UTC)<s>
  • <s>I change my vote to oppose; if he doesn't want to be an admin, we have to respect that. Chocolate 14:58, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
  • He doesn't want it. and he is not ready~Ποκεμανιακα0β 15:07, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
  • Have to agree with Chocolate, the nominee has opposed the nomination, so we need to respect that he doesn't want to be an admin right now. - Kogoro | Talk to me | 22:05, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
    • My vote still stands as an oppose, User feels he isn't ready. As Poli said below, he doesn't take the 'pedia seriously enough. Maybe at a later date, he'll feel ready and take the 'pedia more seriously. - Kogoro | Talk to me | 10:38, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
  • Disagree. He's a pretty nice guy, and he's been here awhile, but he doesn't take the 'pedia seriously enough. Maybe next time. --ニョロトノ666 03:28, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
  • He has a foul temper and doesnt even want it. --Guardian of Earth |SGMS 2010

Other comments

Oh, I don't know... he's gotten blocked before, but he took it gracefully both times... and wasn't he a major userspace abuser awhile back, or am I thinking of someone else? In any case, he's been a good contributor for a long time and works on the manga section, which needs help. He also has exceptionally good grammar and such, so I'm torn. Anyone wanna try to convince me one way or another? --ニョロトノ666 01:07, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

I not trying to convince you...but I really don't think those are things to always hold against a person. I'm sure some other admins have done things like this in the past so I don't think we always need to defy this kind of decision based on these solely. You can take them into consideration if you want, but they shouldn't be the weight of a decision. --HoennMaster 01:11, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
Didnt he request to be banned both times?--DCM((Nag at Me!Edits))
The first time I was blocked due to attacking User:Guardian, the second I requested. And yes, Poli, I did abuse the Userspace back then. Θρtιmαtum♏Talk|Links 06:20, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
Since the nominee opposed the nomination, it shouldn't go any further and should just be archived now. Chocolate 03:29, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
He doesn't feel that he's ready for the job, but he does not oppose the nomination. Vote based on whither or not you think he'd be good for the job, not based on whither or not you think he wants it. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 22:22, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
He voted in his own nomination, and his vote was oppose. That's means he opposes the nomination, and it therefore shouldn't go on any longer. Chocolate 22:24, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

Unsure as of this point. A thorough rundown of contributions will have to be conducted, which I currently don't have time for. Age could be a factor; it may not come to be one, but maturity level certainly does. Bulbapedian - Talk 00:24, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
Actually, I think I'll stop the nomination for now. Currently, I won't be online as much due to school. This is not a lie, I repeat, THIS IS NOT A LIE Θρtιmαtum♏Talk|Links 10:26, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
