BubbleBeam (Japanese: バブルこうせん Bubble Beam) is a Water-type move introduced in Generation I that deals a small amount of damage. Misty will give the player the TM for this move after her defeat in Generation I.

Effect
Generation I
BubbleBeam does damage and has a 9.8% chance of lowering the opponent's speed by 1 level.
BubbleBeam will not be able to lower the opponent's speed if it has reached a level of -6 or a value of 1, or if the opponent has a Substitute.
Generation II and on
Same as Generation I, but with a 10% chance of lowering Speed instead.
