• Wing Attack and Poison Fang are both moves in the Pokémon games that Zubat can learn. Poison Fang did not become an official move until Generation III.
• In the anime, Brock caught as a Zubat in the episode after he was introduced. It eventually evolved into Golbat, and then into Crobat.
