Berry (Japanese: きのみ Berry) is a Pokémon Tool. It is part of the Neo Genesis expansion.

Card text

All prints
AceSpec.png You can't have more than 1 ACE SPEC card in your deck.
Attach Berry to 1 of your Pokémon that doesn't have a Pokémon Tool attached to it.
At any time between turns, if there are at least 2 damage counters on the Pokémon Berry is attached to, you may remove 2 of them and discard Berry. At the start of each turn, if there are at least 2 damage counters on the Pokémon Berry is attached to, remove 2 of them and discard Berry.
 
Do Nothing  
At the beginning of your turn, flip a coin. If heads, you can do nothing during your turn. If tails, your opponent can do nothing during his or her next turn.


Release information

This card was first released in the Neo Genesis expansion, originating from the Japanese Gold, Silver, to a New World.... In Japan, it was reprinted as one of the Unnumbered Promotional cards at the 2000 Champion Road tournament. It was later reprinted in the Intro Pack Neo.

Trivia

The only difference between this card and Gold Berry is that Berry removes half as many damage counters, and is Common instead of Uncommon.

Origin

Berries were featured in Generation II of the Pokémon games and restore 10 HP of the Pokémon they are held by if its HP gets low.
