Benji's father

Benji's father is a character of the day in the Pokémon anime who appeared in the episode Mountain Time.
Benji and his father were part of a mountain patrol and they used Ledian to help them do their job. To help train these Ledian, Benji's father has a Pidgeotto simulate the strong winds that occur in the mountains.
Benji's father stopped Team Rocket from running off with Pikachu and Togepi. He and his son then team up and use both of their Ledian to save Pikachu and Togepi. After Pikachu and Togepi were saved, the first stars begin to appear in the sky and Benji's Ledian's spots start to glow. Benji's father then promotes him to "Officer of the Mountain Patrol" because of it.
