Battlus (Japanese: バトラス Battlus) is the Mount Battle Master of Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness. He can be battled after the player defeated 99 trainers at Mt. Battle. Just like the Mount Battle Master in Pokémon Colosseum, Somek, he appears as a huge bodybuilder. After his defeat he wants the player character to pick one of the three Johto Starter Pokémon: Chikorita, Cyndaquil or Totodile and he also gives away Mt. Battle Ribbons for the Pokémon used in the fight. His Pokémon team is probably the strongest of the game and all his Pokémon are of level 70.

He gives one of these away after defeat. To get the other two as well, the player has to battle the whole Mt. Battle again. The three Pokémon are all obtained at level 5 and all have two special attacks: Chikorita has Frenzy Plant and AncientPower, Cyndaquil has Blast Burn and Reversal, and Totodile has Hydro Cannon and Crunch.
