Barb is an administrator at Bulbagarden. Previously, she was co-head of Fanfiction. Her full name is Barbara LeMaster and she resides in South Florida with her two children, who are directly responsible for getting her into the Pokémon fandom.

Her first foray into writing began at age 11, when she began keeping a journal. Online, she posted original fiction and fanfiction to Fanfiction.Net from 2001 to 2003.

Prior to working on Bulbagarden and Bulbapedia, she was a fanfiction moderator with Damian Silverblade at Serebii.net from late October 2002 to mid-January 2004. Briefly, she worked as a fanfiction critic for a now-defunct website, Who Gives a Ship?, webmastered by ChaosRocket and HeWiE in 2002. She has been a member of the Official PokéShippers since 2002.
