Asunta (Japanese: サユリ Sayuri) is a character of the day from the Pokémon anime.

She appeared in Friends to the End, where she battled Ritchie in the first six-on-six Pokémon battle of the Indigo Plateau Conference. After a fierce battle, both trainers ended up with only one Pokémon left.

With her Ivysaur, Asunta was able to overpower Ritchie's Pikachu and win the match. With this win she advanced to the semi-finals.

It is unknown what happened to Asunta after this point.
