Appendix:User142 Ruby Sapphire walkthrough/Slateport before the team

Have the person who brought you to Dewford Island take you to Slateport. On the beach at Slateport, go straight and face:

North of him is:

To the east of this path, someone will give you Soft Sand. Head north from there, and someone a bit to the east will fight you:

To the west, there is an other trainer:

On the beach, there is a building. Go into the building, all the way to the right, and face:

In the middle of the room is an other trainer:

At the left, there is an other trainer:

Once you've fought all the trainers on the beach and in the building, talk to the person in the back of the room. He will give you 6 Soda Pop.

Go into the city. Go into the shipyard, and talk to the person in the left section of the room.

Go into the Oceanic Museum. Talk to the {{{1}}} person near the entrance. He will give you TM46(Thief).

Go upstairs and talk to the person up there. Two {{{1}}}s will come in and attack you in sequence:
