Almond is the main male character in the romantic manga series Magical Pokémon Journey, also known as Pokémon PiPiPi Adventure. He says he's a Pokémon Trainer, but it's not known what Pokémon he has, or if he's even caught any.

Almond is the love interest of Hazel and Coconut, but he often seems aloof to them and annoyed by their attempts to win him over. And the girls are constantly competing for him. Almond's best friend is Squirtle, who claims that Almond is like the "big brother I never had."
