Feint Attack
だましうち
Choose 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. This attack does 30 damage to that Pokémon. This attack's damage isn't affected by Weakness, Resistance, Poké-Powers, Poké-Bodies, or any other effects on that Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)

Release information

In Japan, this card was released as both a holographic and non-holographic ADV-P Promotional card at participating 7-Eleven stores as part of the Pokémon Fair campaign, which ran from June 25th, 2003 until stocks lasted. Customers who purchased a bottle of Coca-Cola Vanilla, Sprite Classic, Ambasa Sour White, Fanta Fruit Punch, or Fanta Melon Soda were given one of 21 possible cards.

Trivia

The parenthetical clause in Feint Attack is redundant, since the attack's main effect already states that Weakness and Resistance does not apply.

Origin

Quick Attack is a move in the Pokémon games that Absol can learn. Feint Attack is essentially Faint Attack, which Absol can learn via breeding.
