The Movie Commemoration VS Pack: Space Fissure's Deoxys (Japanese: 映画公開記念VSパック 裂空のデオキシス) is a Japanese-exclusive half deck for the Pokémon Trading Card Game released in conjunction with the Japanese screening of Destiny Deoxys.
Information
The Movie Commemoration VS Pack: Space Fissure's Deoxys was first released on July 17th, 2004 exclusively to the Pokémon Center stores in Japan, and was later distributed elsewhere on August 14th, 2004. It features many Pokémon and characters that appeared in Destiny Deoxys, such as Deoxys, Pokémon native to LaRousse City, and Pokémon belonging to the various characters present in the movie.
In addition to the normal contents of half decks in Japan (a rulebook, damage counters, Status Condition counters, and a custom coin), this half deck includes the first and only lenticular image card released in Japan, Space Fissure's Deoxys. The artwork, illustrator, and attacks change when it is seen at a different angle. The card will change into either the Attack Forme, or Normal Forme, which were featured in this deck, as well as the Defense Forme distributed in the second issue of Pokémon Wonderland magazine published on the same day.
The half deck features the first card for a Generation IV Pokémon: Munchlax. Munchlax is also featured on the coin included with the half deck.
