Zackie

Zackie (Japanese: ショウ Shō) is a little boy from Violet City and the character of the day in A Bout With Sprout. He attends Earl Dervish's Pokémon Academy. He is voiced by Amy Birnbaum in English and 愛河里花子 Rikako Aikawa in Japanese.
Zackie saw Ash's Pikachu and immediately fought with another student over it, yanking on Pikachu under the mistaken thought it was wild. He accused Ash of being a loser for not winning first place in the Indigo League and tried to convince Pikachu to leave Ash for him, then stole him when Pikachu refused. He stole a Poké Ball from Ash to try to capture Pikachu but caught a wild Bellsprout instead. Zackie attempted to trade Pikachu for Bellsprout, but Ash refused of course and Bellsprout later grew on Zackie. When Team Rocket attacked the Sprout Tower, his Bellsprout saved the day.

| Zackie's Bellsprout was accidently caught when Zachie thought he had captured Pikachu. It first appeared when Ash and Zackie fell down a hole Team Rocket had set, Zackie sent out Pikachu but out of the Pokéball appeared a Bellsprout but it just stands there. When walking to the Sprout Tower, Zackie attempts to trade Bellsprout for Pikachu, but Ash declines making Zackie cry. Suddenly Bellsprout starts to do weird maneuvers cheering Zackie up. Team Rocket are trying another scheme at the Sprout Tower and Pikachu is captured, Zackie orders Bellsprout to use Razor Leaf. It flicks the controls out of TRMeowth ([[{{{2}}} (move)|{{{2}}}]])'s paws, and with the help of Ash's Bulbasaur they are able to send Team Rocket blasting off.
In the end Zackie says him and Ash will battle when Bellsprout is a Victreebel. Its only known move is Razor Leaf. | ||

Zackie thought Pikachu was a Wild Pokémon and wanted to capture it, but also another child wanted it too and fought over it, but Ash got it back. Zackie later tries to say to ditch Ash and become his Pokémon, Pikachu declines and Zackie tries to pounce on it and steal it from Ash. Ash comes to see what the trouble is and Zackie steals one of his Pokéballs and attempts to capture Pikachu, he runs off and Zackie follows. They enter a forest and Zackie spots him and thinks he sucessfully captured Pikachu in the Pokéball, but he actually captured a Bellsprout. When Ash and Zackie are captured by Team Rocket, he comes out from hiding because the trio use an amplifier to sound like Ash, they throw a net which it dodges and sends Team Rocket blasting off. In the end Zackie loves his newly captured Bellsprout and has no need to capture Pikachu. | ||
