Yuriko Yamaguchi

Yuriko Yamaguchi (Japanese: 山口由里子 Yamaguchi Yuriko) is a Japanese seiyū for the Pokémon anime. She was born on November 21, 1965 in Osaka, Japan.

Pokémon roles

Yamaguchi started work during the original series in Whichever Way the Wind Blows as Vileplume. She then took the major recurring role of Nurse Joy as Will the Real Oak Please Stand Up?, taking the role from Ayako Shiraishi. She took a maternity leave from DP025-DP050, for which Kikuko Inoue filled in. While Chika Fujimura took the role of Nurse Joy in Unova, Yuriko Yamaguchi still took the role of Nurse Joy in the Diamond & Pearl special SS025.
