Yōko

(Japanese: ヨウコ Yōko) is Gardenia's assistant and a character of the day. She appeared in The Grass Menagerie!.

		Nuzleaf
		Not much is known about Nuzleaf. It was first seen bringing a note summoning Gardenia back to the Gym. It is also seen during Ash and Gardenia's Gym battle copying Yōko's hand signals. It reappeared in a flashback in DP048. None of Nuzleaf's moves are known.

She strongly resembles Kumiko Yamaguchi from Gokusen. Incidentally, both of them have the same Japanese voice actress.
She is also the only character of the day whose Pokémon has appeared in an earlier episode.
