Release information

This Tretta was awarded as a prize at the Ultimate Z Challenge ~Battle with Ash~ event held at the 43rd Next Generation World Hobby Fair during winter 2016. The World Hobby Fair took place at Makuhari Messe, Chiba on January 23 and 24, 2016; at the Nagoya Dome, Nagoya on January 31, 2016; at the Kyocera Dome Osaka, Osaka on February 7, 2016; and at the Fukuoka Yahuoku! Japan Dome, Fukuoka on February 14, 2016. It was awarded again in the same manner at several later events. Details of these events are as follows:

  • At VIVACE Amusement Space, Ōbu, Aichi on February 28, 2016.
  • At the Hokkaido My Home Center, Sapporo on March 5, 2016.

The Ultimate Z Challenge ~Battle with Ash~ featured one opposing team of Pokémon comprising Xerneas, Yveltal, and Zygarde. Players who managed to fill the Catch Gauge of any one Pokémon were awarded either this Tretta, a Yveltal Tretta, or a Zygarde Tretta at random. Players who did not manage to defeat any Pokémon at these events were instead awarded a Ash-Greninja Tretta. Unlike most events, only two Tretta were required to participate, with the third taken up by a special Greninja Tretta belonging to Ash Ketchum. This Tretta was capable of transforming into Ash's Greninja and could use the move Water Shuriken. The team present at each Ultimate Z Challenge ~Battle with Ash~ is detailed below.
