Plot

Major events

• Ash and Alain continue their battle against Lysandre, but are interrupted by Malva.
• Clemont battles Xerosic and wins, reclaiming the Lumiose Gym.
• Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie meets Steven for the first time.
• Team Rocket begin their battle against Celosia.
• Ash learns that Malva is part of Team Flare.
• Malva is revealed to oppose Lysandre's plan and have turned against him.
• Serena, Professor Sycamore, and Mairin successfully rescue Chespie from Lysandre Labs.
• Bonnie sings Puni-chan's Song to Squishy, freeing it from Team Flare's mind control.
• Clemont destroys the machine controlling Z2, which in turn destroys Clembot, at the robot's own request.
• Z2 is also released from Team Flare's control, apparently thwarting Lysandre's evil scheme.
