Trivia
- Professor Oak's Pokémon Holo Caster: Gogoat
- Bonnie narrates the preview and says "Everyone, keep Pokémon!" phrase for the next episode alone, while Ash reads the title card.
- Just like in Kindergarten Chaos!, A Slippery Encounter!, and Beyond the Rainbow!, at the end of the preview, Bonnie says "Everyone, keep Pokémon!" instead of Ash saying his "Everyone, get Pokémon!" phrase.
- This was Mariya Ise's final episode as Bonnie before starting maternity leave from the show.
- This episode is similar to Freeze Frame, which aired 695 episodes ago, where a friend of the group whose hobby is to take photographs of Pokémon, attempts to take a picture of one of the Legendary birds.
- Brilliantly is used as an insert song when Ash's Fletchinder evolves into a Talonflame.
- A reference to the games is made because Ash chose a Froakie as his starter and encountered a Moltres, which is a refrence to the fact that the player has to choose Froakie at the start of their adventure in order to find Moltres.
Errors
- In the dub, when Pikachu and Dedenne are excited after seeing Charmeleon, Dedenne's mouth moves but no sound comes out.
- When Ash grabs his Talonflame while falling down into a volcano together, the yellow mark on Talonflame's right eye is missing.

Dub edits
- The title card segment in the dub features Serena's old design.
- Brilliantly is replaced by Be a Hero during Fletchinder's evolution.
