The '''2012: Junior Division Challenge''' (Japanese: '''ジュニアせかいおうじゃに いどめ!''' ''Challenge the Junior World Champion!'') tournament feature the top four contestants from Junior Division from the [[2012 World Championships|World Championship Nationals]] that were held in Hawaii in August 2012. It is part of the series of tournaments based off of the tournament finalists. Its distribution began on October 21, 2012 for Japanese and international releases and January 3, 2013 for Korean release.
Due to an error in World Finalist Brendan's team, a fixed version of the tournament has been released on October 23, 2012. The original can be differentiated from the updated version by the colon on the title (originally being '''2012 Junior Division Challenge''').

The '''2012: Masters Division Challenge''' (Japanese: '''マスターせかいおうじゃに いどめ!''' ''Challenge the Master World Champion!'') tournament features the top four contestants from Master Division from the [[2012 World Championships|World Championship Nationals]] that were held in Hawaii in August 2012. It is part of the series of tournaments based off of the tournament finalists. Its distribution began on November 18, 2012 for Japanese and international releases and on April 4, 2013 for Korean releases.

Due to an error in World Finalist Abel's team, a fixed version of the tournament has been released under the name '''2012 Master Division Challenge''' (without the colon) since on November 20, 2012 for international releases.<ref>[http://web.archive.org/web/20130729041332/http://www.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-news/vg_pokemonworldtournament_masters-2012-11-19/ Pokémon.com announcement] (via Internet Archive)</ref>
