Western Cave (Japanese: にしの どうくつ Western Cave) is a dungeon in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team. It is home to Mewtwo and contains 99 floors. HM Surf is required to enter this dungeon.
The day after Ho-Oh is recruited from Mt. Faraway, Blastoise and Charizard will return from a failed expedition to this dungeon, having been defeated by an unseen Pokémon. Western Cave will then be unlocked for exploration.
Keys and stat-boosting health drinks can be found on the ground. The Beauty Scarf can be found on B59F, and requires a Key to obtain.
There is a chance of finding Kecleon Shops from B30F onwards. There are no hidden items.

- The name is a reference to Cerulean Cave, due to the cave being in the west, having Mewtwo at the end of the dungeon, and the need of Surf for the player to get to the cave.
