Wattson's Manectric (Japanese: テッセンのライボルト Tessen's Livolt) is Wattson's main Pokémon in all media he has appeared in; that is, in the games, anime, and the Pokémon Adventures manga.

In the anime

As an Electrike

It first appeared as an Electrike in Watt's with Wattson?. After Wattson was defeated easily by Ash, he came to the Power Plant in Mauville City. When Wattson was lamenting on his total defeat, he found a wild Electrike which cheered him up. He then found out that Team Rocket was trying to steal the Pokémon in the Power Plant. With Pikachu's and Electrike's help, they were able to stop Team Rocket and send them blasting off again. After this Electrike decided to stay with Wattson.

It again appeared in Manectric Charge. When Ash and the others were at Mauville City again, Team Rocket tried to steal all of their Pokémon. However, Wattson and Watt arrived to stop Team Rocket in their tracks once again. After the battle, Electrike evolved into Manectric.

Ash decided to challenge Wattson and his Manectric to a training match with his newly caught Torkoal which Wattson gladly accepted. After a fierce battle at the Mauville Gym, Manectric emerged victorious.

Wattson and Manectric
As an Electrike

Wattson's Manectric appears in Pokémon Adventures as his main Pokémon. He first appeared as an Electrike in VS. Electrike I while he was battling some Pokémon belonging to some children. The Electrike was able to defeat their Pokémon easily. Later, he falls down a hole leading to New Mauville along with Wattson, Sapphire and the Trick Master. He was told to lead the way out. Electrike reappeared in VS. Shiftry as a Manectric this time. He was shown to be a mode for mobile transportation as Wattson had to go to the Gym Leader's meeting. He was later used to battle against Amber's Nincada, which quickly evolved into a Ninjask. Manectric was finally able to defeat Ninjask with Thunder, also knocking itself out in the process.
