A Sprayduck is a key item that is found in the Sinnoh region, used to water growing Berries. It is the Generation IV equivalent to the Wailmer Pail.

In the games

The Sprayduck is found in the Pick a Peck of Colors Flower Shop. Despite serving the same purpose as the Wailmer Pail, there is a difference in the way it is used. For example, if there are four patches of soil next to each other, forming a horizontal row, one can water all of them in one go by using the direction pad (D-pad) while the Wailmer Pail only allows one berry to be watered at one time. When the player uses the D-pad to reach the end of the row (including rows with room for only single berries), the dialog box is triggered, no matter haw many "shakes" of the pail have occurred. However, when the D-pad is not used, the Sprayduck performs seven shakes before triggering the dialog window.

Its in-game sprite is based on a Psyduck.

In the anime

The Sprayduck was introduced in Oh Do You Know The Poffin Plan. It was being held by Forsythia and her Roserade, but other than that, it seems to serve no other purpose than an accessory and a watering can.
