Wayne <!--(Japanese: ? ?) --> is a character seen in Round 124 of the Pokémon Special manga. This skilled trainer is a friend of Cianwood City's Gym Leader, Chuck. A vagabond, he prefers traveling around instead of settling down in one place. He has a feather he holds in his mouth like hard-boiled characters typically do with a strand of grain, and wears goggles. Chuck seems to have a very high opinion of him, even claiming him to be "strong enough to beat any gym leader around" and that he "could easily become a gym leader". Not much else is known about this trainer.
