The rank 10 [[Pokémon Ranger (Ranger series)|Ranger]] [[Lunick]] and his Co-worker [[Solana]] and their partners {{p|Minun}} and {{p|Plusle}} battle against the evil [[Go-Rock Quads]] who plan to use a {{p|Manaphy}} Egg to find the legendary Sea Temple [[Samiya]], find the [[Sea Crown|Crown of the Sea]], and use its powers to rule the world. Their only problem is that the [[Go-Rock Quads]] have the legendary {{p|Deoxys}} on their side, can they defeat them and save the world?

W Mission Story: Pokémon Ranger - The Comic (Japanese: W ミッションストーリ ポケモンレンジャー the Comic) is a manga based on the W-Mission of Pokémon Ranger. It is written by 日下秀憲 Hidenori Kusaka and illustrated by 山本サトシ Satoshi Yamamoto. It is set in the same continuity as Pokémon Adventures, as evidenced in PS441. A manga featuring the game's sequel, Shadows of Almia, was also released under the name "Darkrai Mission Story: Pokémon Ranger Vatonage - the Comic".
