:: Better? You lost me in the suggestions for the aforementioned Gyms. I've been told not to reply to comments that are over six months old, but I don't see dates anywhere. If they're there (and I'm guessing they are), then they must be pretty small. I usually can read small print, even with my glasses on, but, I don't see dates. ::: That, plus an extra colon.  (The user to reply to this comment should have four colons.)  The six month rule is policy, but that is something else.  Anyways, I do not believe that my suggestions should have led you to anything about a Gym.  If you meant about Bulbapedia:Project Anime, I was not sure if I should just recommend you to a staff member at the time.  The project was mostly a list of users who might have been able to help out, but I did not want to send you to an inactive user.  Anyways, would you be alright if I asked a user on your behalf?  --[[User:Super goku|Super goku]] ([[User talk:Super goku|talk]]) 02:14, 15 August 2014 (UTC)

Revision as of 02:14, 15 August 2014

Hi. I chose the name "WATERWARRIOR67" because I like Water-types & Fighting-types; 67 is my favorite number, for personal reasons. I watch the anime as often as I can. By the way, it's all-caps because I felt like it. 2 random things to add: 1, a young boy I know can do a pretty legit Pikachu impersonation. The second thing is odd, but I've noticed it & it's actually kind of funny. Sometimes, when my stomach growls, it sounds like Brock's Croagunk.

Welcome to Bulbapedia, WATERWARRIOR67!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Ampersand

Please make sure to use 'and' in edits to the mainspace, and not the ampersand (&). Thank you. --It's Funktastic~!話してください 20:29, 24 June 2014 (UTC)

Userspace limits

Hi. I noticed you have been editing the User: namespace a lot recently. Please don't do it any more, though. Bulbapedia's Userspace policy restricts the amount you can edit your userpage: no more than three edits per day and make sure you contribute to our mainspace more than your userspace. This policy was instated to promote people helping out in the mainspace, and also to control strain on our server. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, after all, so help us out by contributing to some articles before coming back to your personal userpage. The more often you edit in the mainspace, the more you will be allowed to edit your userpage. Thanks! --It's Funktastic~!話してください 23:45, 14 July 2014 (UTC)

Hold on!

If you did not read your last warning, then please read it now. You have edited the User: namespace too much. In the past, no one was allowed to edit their userpages because some users were over-editing their own userpages. Your personal editing privileges can be taken away, so please do not edit your page any more for now. Instead, how about helping contribute to some of Bulbapedia's many articles? Thank you. --It's Funktastic~!話してください 21:58, 19 July 2014 (UTC)

Trivia additions

Just so you know, not every character's name or place is based on music or anything too common for us, such as Layla being named after Eric Clapton's Layla. It's something that the writers chose. PattyMan 20:19, 30 July 2014 (UTC)

I kinda figured. I REALLY am into music. WATERWARRIOR67 (talk) 17:34, 6 August 2014 (UTC)WATERWARRIOR67

Signature

Okay, I understand that I sign each post with four tildes. I'm surprised that that's what they're called. (giggling). I mean, I figured that they had an official name, but never knew what it was until I came to Bulbapedia! Anyway, I was wondering how you get your signatures in a custom font and color. I think it's really cool. If anyone can explain it to me, I'd greatly appreciate it. To whoever takes on the role of explaining that process to me a warning: I'm not really computer-literate. You might have to simplify it. If you have to explain it to me more than once, please don't get angry. I'm really smart, I just don't comprehend certain things as quickly as others. WATERWARRIOR67 (talk) 17:41, 6 August 2014 (UTC)WATERWARRIOR67

The simple answer is: in your Preferences. The link in the instructions will probably do a better job of explaining wikicode than I could here. It may also help to look at other users' signatures for reference. Tiddlywinks (talk) 17:49, 6 August 2014 (UTC)
... like I said, not computer literate. I went to the page, but got lost. I've been using Wikipedia for about 9 years & don't really know what wikicode is. WATERWARRIOR67 (talk) 02:08, 7 August 2014 (UTC)WATERWARRIOR67
Well, I pretty well meant it when I said that page could do better than I could. I get stuff, but teaching is not my forte, much less over the internet. If you need that much help, I'm sorry to say I'm not the person to give it. =( Tiddlywinks (talk) 02:16, 7 August 2014 (UTC)
If you specify what type of signature you want, I could help you if you want. --→PikaTepig999★ 05:54, 7 August 2014 (UTC)

Tiddlywinks It's okay. Something simple, like Blazing Fist's. - unsigned comment from WATERWARRIOR67 (talkcontribs)

Snowpoint City and Sunyshore City

In the trivia sections, both cities are listed in the episodes they made their debut in. However, in Pruning a Passel of Pals! and Losing Its Lustrous, both cities are mentioned, but don't appear for a specific time period. Snowpoint City isn't visited until Classroom Training!, 48 episodes later and Sunyshore City isn't visited until Flint Sparks the Fire, 69 episodes later. Would it be a waste of space if I added these mentions to the trivia sections? The reason I'm asking is because the Twinleaf Festival is mentioned by Dawn in Barry's Busting Out All Over!, but doesn't appear until Strategy Begins at Home!, 37 episodes later. Can someone tell me if this is trivia? WATERWARRIOR67 (talk) 16:37, 11 August 2014 (UTC)WATERWARRIOR67

I am highly certain it isn't, not to mention that the trivia section does not seem to contain their debut episode anyways. Are you referring to the "In The Anime" section of the article? (I should note that you should use the article's talk page or, in this case, one of the two.) --Super goku (talk) 15:50, 12 August 2014 (UTC)

Yes, that's what I'm referring to. I didn't think to use the talk page. My mistake. WATERWARRIOR67 (talk) 16:24, 13 August 2014 (UTC)WATERWARRIOR67

I think that the reason the Twinlead Festival article mentions it is because it is not a location, but an event. However, you might be right that we could still add it to the article when it was first mentioned, otherwise there would likely be a debate on "Ash from Pallet Town." Anyways, you have at least three options: 1) Make the edit with the possibility of it being reverted 2)(Recommended) Go to either talk page and make the request, possibly with a reason on why you think this would make the article better. 3) (Preferred+Recommended) Ask a user from Bulbapedia:Project Anime as they should be able to point you in the correct location or give you a proper answer. If you do pick option three, I would recommend someone from Project Anime who has made an edit within the last week or so. (I should also note that colons should be used to indent out comments, with an additional colon after each successive comment.) --Super goku (talk) 00:14, 14 August 2014 (UTC)
Like this? By the way, you had me and then you lost me. WATERWARRIOR67 (talk) 01:24, 14 August 2014 (UTC)WATERWARRIOR67
Close, you just need to add an additional colon so that it is one more than the user that you are replying to. To clarify, I am not sure if it can be added, nor am I the right user to decide. If you want to talk to someone about it, I would recommend either going to one of the talk page of either article or asking a user who is a part of Bulbapedia:Project Anime. (If you need to, could you repeat which part is not clear back to me?) --Super goku (talk) 02:33, 14 August 2014 (UTC)
