Welcome to Bulbapedia, Thorin868!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Trivia

Please proofread your trivia edits and make sure they are in line with trivia policy. Also, Pokémon is spelled with a capital P. --Celadonkey 18:35, 26 February 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for the heads up. I appreciate the attention to helping a newbie like me, but I do have a question. I ge that my edit in the trivie of bulbasaur was unnecesarry, however, I don't quite understand what was wrong with the addition i did to Seviper? You see, I don't know in wich episode it was, but I'm sure it was mentioned that Seviper was supposedly the evolution of Arbok. I was suprised by this and immedeatly checked on bulbapedia, but couldn't find anything about it. It's actually the main reason I joined, so I would very much like to understand how it could be improved. - unsigned comment from Thorin868 (talkcontribs)

It was the first piece of trivia on both Seviper's and Arbok's pages.
Also, side note: You should end all comments on talk pages with four tildes like this: ~~~~ It puts a signature with a timestamp. I added an unsigned thing after your comment - if you do forget to put a signature, don't add it back, because it adds an incorrect timestamp. And to stagger the comments, begin all comments with one more colon than the person above (for example if you were replying to a comment with four colons then you'd add five.) --Celadonkey 19:09, 26 February 2017 (UTC)

Ah, I see now that it is indeed described in the trivia. I believe this wasn't the case when I stumbled upon the case, about a year ago, but I should definitely have rechecked before editing. Also, I don't know how to work with columns, since my 'tab'-key doesn't do it. And I hope I am doing the timestamp right now. Thorin868 (talk) 19:45, 26 February 2017 (UTC)

Timestamp is working! Good job. The columns don't need the tab key, but instead as I described, the colon key. Just look in the source at my comments and you should see what I'm doing. --Celadonkey 19:48, 26 February 2017 (UTC)
So it should go like this?

Thorin868 (talk) 19:50, 26 February 2017 (UTC)

Exactly! But a heads-up, generally, don't put an enter for a timestamp - it goes on the same line. And if you are using an enter with colons, you need to put the same amount of colons, otherwise it goes back to the start of a line.
Do it like this (see the source code). --Celadonkey 19:54, 26 February 2017 (UTC)~
Alright, I think I have got the hang of it now.
So this should be right.Thorin868 (talk) 18:21, 27 February 2017 (UTC)
Yup, perfect. --Celadonkey 18:25, 27 February 2017 (UTC)
Alright! So, now what? Do we just leave this whole conversation here, or should it be cleaned up?Thorin868 (talk) 18:27, 27 February 2017 (UTC)
if you really want to clean it up you can archive it (I forgot how to do it, ask a mod) but I'd just leave it until your talk page gets really big --Celadonkey 18:45, 27 February 2017 (UTC)
