Need to ask a favor

Since you did a good job on the Unknown page with the new material I've added I've decided that you should look at Serebii's details on the Pokéthlon stats and do the pages in necessary on Pokémon that have multiple forms, like Wurmadam and Deoxys because you could probably do a quicker and better job than I could. -Tyler53841 02:05, 2 October 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, sure. —darklordtrom 03:00, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
Alright and I can handle the rest just like I had been doing today. -Tyler53841 03:04, 2 October 2009 (UTC)

Pokéthlon stats

I see an issue coming up regarding Rotom. Each form has different stats... the page can get to be really large... ht14 02:53, 2 October 2009 (UTC)

It will be no issue. —darklordtrom 03:00, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
K. ht14 03:02, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
So you're not hiding the ones that aren't Mow Rotom. Just all alternate, right? ht14 03:15, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
Oh, I didn't realise they were stuck to specific days. In any case I'm not a fan of hiding too much information. If I had my way I'd have all information shown on the page, with just the infobox/in the anime pictures alternating. —darklordtrom 03:19, 2 October 2009 (UTC)

Redirect

I need a removal of a redirect from Monday to days of the week in Pokémon Gold and Silver remake speculation. Thanks. ht14 21:07, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

New stuff!

In my Sandbox, evobox stuff. Also, here, there were some misunderstandings, all the Emeralds should be gifs. Also, here, there's a bunch of commented out stuff that has to do with held items which isn't needed since that has its own template now.--MisterE13 23:49, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

Could you get on this stuff please, my sandbox is categorized as a template.--MisterE13 20:59, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
Sorry. All done, except the commented out stuff. It may be useful in a future revision. It isn't hurting anyone by being there. —darklordtrom 22:48, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
Thanks, I just figured that all that text on 493 pages that wasnt being seen couldn't be good. I had actually made a small mistake with the Illumise thing so could you take anouther peek when you have the time (at least there doesn't have to be any categories this time).--MisterE13 23:40, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
Well seeing as it is commented out it won't get called anyway. Leaving it there is probably safer than telling the server to take out things that don't really exist. :D —darklordtrom 00:53, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

Luis Felix

Why don't you just conert the time at only 10 sec.Luis Felix Rileys 10:38, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

We could do. But that might be too hard on the server. —darklordtrom 20:27, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

How exciting!

I've made my first official template, oh boy! \o/ Thanks for doing the moving and all. (It was right that I made it in my userspace first though, correct...?) 梅子 22:48, 10 October 2009 (UTC)

Yep, you did right. Technically it's meant to stay there until there are a few people using it, but this one is for an official game (as opposed to User has brown pants etc. etc.) so I decided to fast forward it. That's the kind of template we want people using. —darklordtrom 23:30, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
I was surprised no one had made it before, honestly. 梅子 23:33, 10 October 2009 (UTC) ←This user has black pants.

Are Certain Comments on Race Relevant?

Realizing that Pokémon is a franchise for entertainment, I would avoid the question of race on Bulbapedia. However, before a philosophical discussion on what exactly constitutes 'race' and related social constructs ensues, I am curious as to whether a comment on a certain character's race is relevant. After all, this might just be me, but the Pokémon franchise appears to feature ethnically East Asian (Japanese) and Caucasian characters for the most part with few or no representatives of other ‘races’ (or rather, ethnic groups, a different concept in itself). More specially, can I add the following comment on Rosie from Pokémon Battle Revolution onto her Bulbapedia reference page? Is it relevant? [Ha, relevant trivia – is that an oxymoron?]

Trivia

 • Notably, Rosie (in her American rendition) is one of few characters in the Pokémon franchise to be explicitly racially black.

[I admit that the use of consecutive adverbs here is awkward.]

Race (cont.)

Of course, adding this comment might necessitate similar comments on characters such as Sashay (in her American version). Help trom – I might be opening a can of worms here!

Sorry – I have yet to form a signature on Bulbapedia so I’ll sign however I can. Of course, you know how to contact me.

My Apologies

trom, it is my first time on a talk page and I already messed up. See, I deleted an earlier version of my first post on this talk page which I accidentally forgot to sign and published before editing, but apparently changing even undesired talk posts is illegal on Bulbapedia (aka ‘Edit conflict’). Sorry for any inconvenience.

A response, from Mental Dario.

Harassment? Harassment? Are you accusing me of harassment? Need I remind you that it is I that is being stepped on, I that is being patronized, and I that is really bored? I think that you are the villain here! -- Mental Dario 08:41, 13 October 2009 (UTC)

You're ubelievably funny.--Liquid ICE (User:Cold)(page, talk) 08:45, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
If you're bored, go look at lolcats. They always cheer me up. And yes, you are harassing our staff members. You're refusing to follow Bulbapedia policy and using nasty cusswords. Calling names isn't going to help your situation. Face it, your opinion doesn't count for anything. Encyclopedias are built on fact. Now go lol at those cats and leave us all alone. If you continue to harp on here I will have to put you out of your misery. —darklordtrom 08:49, 13 October 2009 (UTC)

Apologies

Sorry, I will do. I was just have trouble making these user tag things work. Thanks. OwnageMuch 07:47, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

Apology acepted. If you can give it a break for now that would be appreciated. If you edit more in the mainspace, we will be more lenient on your userspace editing, btw. You've currently edited a grand total of zero encyclopedia articles... how about we changed that ;) —darklordtrom 07:48, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

I'm sure I'll be able to add lots of Trivia, but when will editing the Pokémon pages be allowed again? OwnageMuch 08:07, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

At this stage, this time next month. That's when they will automatically unprotect themselves. As you may have seen on the Messages from the Editor we are having some... technical hitches... at the moment. Rest assured, we will have them active again as soon as we possibly can. —darklordtrom 08:09, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

There is also a giant Drapion

Can you add J's Drapion to the list of the giants? In DP072 I saw that it's Giant. If you'll compare it to Aaron's, it defenitely giant. And a question- the two Wiscash that in giant pokemon are really giant? I think they are a normal Wiscash. 2'11". Moti19909 09:55, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

If someone else could confirm this for me. I don't watch the anime and some things are highly debatable. Same goes for Whishcash. —darklordtrom 09:56, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
Whiscash is already in there, and about Drapion, I'm not sure, it seems nprmal to me.--ForceFire 09:57, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

Of course that J's Drapion is giant. Look at it: 1

And look at Aaron's Drapion: 2 So I suggest you to add it to the list.

And you did not answer me: why those two Wiscash are considered as a giant??? Moti19909 12:40, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

I told you, I don't watch the anime at all. If any of the RC-stalkers want to chime in here they can be my guest. —darklordtrom 18:56, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
J's Drapion is quite large, about twice the hight that most Drapion are, but only in that scene. It's not that size in any of these
For the Whiscash, it should be painfully obvious why Nero is considered giant. Just read the page. And for Juan's Whiscash, it isn't directly stated, but if you look at the top right picture here, Whiscash is much larger than Ash's Swellow. Swellow are 2'4", Whiscash are 2'11", but look at the size difference. There wouldn't be that much a difference when there should only be a 7 inch difference. R.A. Hunter Blade 21:27, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

Also, Aaron is taller than Ash. -- Kimori Geckarbor Hinoarashi 19:25, 30 October 2009 (UTC) Kimori-Hinoarashi

Userspace Privilages

When will I get my Userspace privilages back? I've made several contributions to the mainspace since then. I'm sorry for editing my user space too much, I didnt realize that I was and was trying to make a 'Future SoulSilver Team' chart but it totally messed up my page. I fixed it then lost my privilages. LugiaRocks 01:39, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

You have made a lot of mainspace edits. A sincere congratulations to you. However, the standard time of service is one month, which may be lessened to two weeks in extreme cases. You've almost done one week, so if you keep the effort up I'll see what I can do. —darklordtrom 01:49, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
Thank you. Btw how do you edit your sig? LugiaRocks 02:14, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
Special:Preferences and test it out using "show preview" so we don't have to see every stage of its development. —darklordtrom 02:15, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

Caterpie and Weedle

While they are listed as version exclusives on their own pages as well as their cocoon forms, but I noticed this does not include the Bug Catching Contest as a location and the fact they both appear there. With those pages in lockdown I have no choice but to ask you for help since it looks like these Pokémon are not completely a version exclusive. -Tyler53841 06:18, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

I'm sure this can wait until we get confirmed availabilities. I'd assume that it's the same as GS, but some confirmation would be nice. —darklordtrom 08:28, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

Would you know...

why the (Pokémon) articles are protected until November? tc²₆tc26 07:10, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

Yup. It's to do with the Studio Bebop thing. There's a thread about it in the news forum, I think. —darklordtrom 07:12, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
The iPhone app thing? Thanks. tc²₆tc26 07:46, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
Couldn't a "main" Admin of Bulbapedia report the Application to Apple, stating that it's breaking the creative commons license as well as hot linking from Bulbapedia and request that it be taken down? I apologise if this is already in the process of being done, since I don't look at the forums all too often... I just think it'd make more sense to go straight to the core rather than trying to speak to a seemingly unwilling-to-resolve-the-issue App creator. ASecondOpinion1501 02:31, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
We've had Bulbagarden's owner, right hand man, and the Editor in chief do it. If they didn't listen to them, they wouldn't listen to a simple admin. MaverickNate 02:34, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
By "Main Admin", I kinda meant those high up people! :P -- Talk to Apple or the App Creator? ASecondOpinion1501 02:38, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

Regarding Pokemon Pages

I know they are blocked for that App issue but here is something I want fixed in the Mesprit, Azelf, and Uxie Pages. In their Anime Appearances, it is included that a statue of them appeared in some episode. But I did this on DP147, with the Dialga & Palkia statues appearing in them. Kenji & Adyniz said that statues aren't Pokemon. So could you remove that from their Anime Appearances. Thanks User:BAC510 07:23, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

Statues are of note. We list flashbacks and fantasies. I see no reason why they should not be included on DP147. As such, I have added it back in. —darklordtrom 07:29, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
Flashbacks and fantasies have actual Pokémon in them. Statues are objects can't move and have no life to them. How come The Wacky Watcher doesn't have Rhyhorn in listed in the Pokémon section when it was a drawing of one in Tracey's sketchbook? Why doesn't The Crystal Onix have all the Pokémon that Mateo made glass sculptures off in the Pokémon section?
And what of the case of Misty's lure? That's would be in the same category as statues but it doesn't have Misty under the human section.
It should stay consistent. If one thing isn't mentioned then they other shouldn't either. If they are to stay then someone should look at all the episodes and put all the inanimate objects as characters. I've grown tired of this half-ass stuff. --ケンジガール 08:00, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
I would actually count statues as something different entirely, particularly since the statues in question are of importance to the overall plot. They are of much more significance than a lure or a sketch. —darklordtrom 08:26, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
Regardless of how important one think it is. An inanimate object is an inanimate object. --ケンジガール 08:41, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
Sure. Take it out of the DP page then, but I still think it should remain in the Dialga/Palkia pages. —darklordtrom 08:51, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

Cut Glitch and Glitches Template

Just thought I'd ask you a question about the article you say you like! ;) -- Now that the page is no longer a stub, should I add it to the Glitches template and place that template at the bottom of the Cut Glitch page or is it not notable enough to be included in the template? ASecondOpinion1501 11:26, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

Can't help but saying: YAY I fixed that stub! :D - OwnageMuch 03:05, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

User talk:Missingno. Master/Archive9#Glitch Pokémon Infobox

I had kinda forgotten to finish it, but now it should be completed (at least I can't find any errors anymore). Examples of it in use can be found on my sandbox page. UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 15:44, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

I'm marveling in its glory. And now everyone else can, too. Great job. —darklordtrom 20:02, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
Ok, there was one thing (there's always one thing!). Then Gen1 equivalent parameter was not part of the original template, so I turned it off as a default to prevent it from showing erroneous data on each of the glitch pages. For those who do have an equivalent, this can be added, of course. —darklordtrom 20:09, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
Okay... I left it on by default as most glitch Pokémon are in Gen I (and thus have often an equivalent), but that's okay too.
I fixed the Ten question marks page to show up correctly with the new template, but I sadly have to go offline now. There is a lot to fix; the thumb rule is that a generation tag should be added, the gender stuff should be changed to gendercode tag (works the same way as in normal Pokémon infobox, because this is based on it) if it exists, versions tag should be renamed as games, imgsize to size. I'll try to fix as many as I can once I get back on computer (hope at least someone else understands the code as well and goes to fix those - I'll also list the variables once I have time). UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 20:20, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
Oh, that kind of equivalent! I mistook that to mean an equivalent glitch Pokémon when trading to RB. *facepalm* I'm going to leave that template well alone.... —darklordtrom 20:28, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

Kenji-girl's talk page, Kevzo8's talk page, and electAbuzzzz's talk page. —darklordtrom 00:24, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
What did I spam about? I'm a hardworking user on this site, I'm working very hard trying to follow to rules (this is so different from Wikia). I simply asked them to edit some stubs. I'm too busy. * --T☆MMYSAN! 8:30 October 21, 2009 (UTC)
Yeah. WIKIA stubs. Not BULBAPEDIA stubs. That's the problem. —darklordtrom 00:32, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
I think we might have forgotten, but Wikia really doesn't have anything to do with Bulbapedia. Lets just get back to work. I'm busy, you're busy. I just returned and I really want to work hard. * --T☆MMYSAN! 8:33 October 21, 2009 (UTC)
Exactly. It has nothing to do with Bulbapedia. And that's why you don't need to spam people's pages with it. I'm glad we've reached this understanding. —darklordtrom 00:36, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
I can see the confusion here. I was asking Kenji-girl and electAbuzzzz to help me edit stubs HERE. Talking about a subject on wikia is spam. Let me tell you that was certainly not what I was refering to. I'm more respeonible than you guys think I am. How else would I be a rollbacker on Wikipedia? I'm sorry for the confusion, but there is something else I would like to talk about. This thing where no one other then admins could edit was unfair to the other users. Who ran this thing? Archaic or TTEchidna? I have a lead that it was him, but as admins, it is your job to ATTRACT people to the wiki, not stop them from editing. Good day. --T☆MMYSAN! 05:34 PM November 17, 2009 (UTC)
Calm down. Editing was briefly restricted to admins because we didn't want any users to come in, not know what was going on, and end up reverting all the changes, thereby causing server stress. Notices were issued so that people would know why Bulbapedia was locked down and so they wouldn't revert the chances once the lockdown was lifted. --Darkeiya talk to me! 00:50, 18 November 2009 (UTC)
Prove your responsibility then, and tackle some stubs yourself instead of hanging out in the usertalkspace. Let's see what you're made of. I consider this issue closed. —darklordtrom 20:35, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

Pokémon in New Zealand

Greetings,

I just made a few edits to the TV2 article. As I have been taping Pokémon off New Zealand's airwaves for years (before anyone accuses me of being a pirate I've also bought most of the DVDs released here) and know quite a bit about our airing history. I could also provide various timeslot and channel references from my tapes. If a Pokémon in New Zealand article is started, feel free to let me know and I'll be happy to contribute to it. --Bardock 11:03, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for your additions. I haven't watched the anime in six years so my knowledge is fairly rudimentary. I was planning on looking into an NZ article at some point in the next few weeks. My exams finish on the 2nd, so the article will largely depend on how much time I have to spend at work. You're more than welcome to help: I'll probably drop a note to all of the NZ contributors once I've got it started so you guys can fill in my grey areas. —darklordtrom 04:03, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

I AM SO SORRY!

Sorry for continously bugging you XP. Any, I'm currently working on a new template, it isn't quite done yet, what else do you think I should add?--ForceFire 07:15, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

I made one change. Otherwise it's fairly good. Better than some of your other work :P —darklordtrom 07:47, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
So it's good then.--ForceFire 08:21, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

Signatures

Ahh, I didn't know that. I came over from Zeldapedia (Zelda.wikia.com) the one-of-a-kind wiki one might add, because basically all of us use "Word Bubbles". See something like this and note how alot of us use word bubbles. But I suppose if it's not allowed here I won't use it here, maybe it's because this wiki is much more professional, but whatever. I'll be glad to stay with my signature. And what I'm getting at is we can only have one personal image? It's the same for basically everywhere but I'm assuming that you guys do it, too. --Zelda311 15:48, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

I hope I'm not asking for too much but the picture of Magikarp on Fishtalk is messed up and I can't figure out how to fix it. -- Landfish7 15:56, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

It looks fine on my screen. I'm not sure what's wrong there. If you're using Internet Explorer... well that's often a problem in itself. —darklordtrom 04:19, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

Sysops

So, who runs these parts nowa' days? --Zelda311 08:48, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

These losers. —darklordtrom 08:54, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
I meant who is the sysops/ruler/(possible) creator that is active right now. For instance AuronKaizer is at Zeldapedia. --Zelda311 00:53, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
TTEchidna is the Editor-in-Chief; he won't be taking any messages for the remainder of the month so if there are any issues you can leave them with one of these idiots or the aforementioned losers. —darklordtrom 00:55, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Re: Userpage Warning

You're saying that to someone who was up almost all night trying to find articles to fix, and actually made some edits that no one else bothered to fix. - unsigned comment from Pokemon486 (talkcontribs)

No, I'm saying it to someone who made eleven userspace contributions on 26 October 2009 and two mainspace contributions over that same period. —darklordtrom 23:05, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
Well, there isn't much to fix around here. The only thing that I can see at a first glance is updating the Generation III game screenshots in Japanese with English ones (if you can even do that without getting a warning). Pokemon486 23:19, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
There's a lot to fix. Check out the ongoing work section on the Main Page, or the Recent Changes toolbox. The point of a warning is to let you know when something you're doing isn't exactly right... the general idea is that once you're warned for something you don't do it again. Go ahead and Anglicize the screenshots. Just make sure they're of high quality. If you're doing something wrong I'll be sure to let you know so you can improve your editing patterns. —darklordtrom 23:22, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
Well I said at first glance. You certainly seem more helpful when I'm putting text on your userpage instead of mine. Pokemon486 23:24, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
That's because on your page I'm telling you that you're wrong. Don't get too upset when it happens again. —darklordtrom 23:26, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
Hmm...suddenly I can't find the pages I found with Japanese pictures. Do you know any? Pokemon486 00:39, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
Nope. Check your browser history. —darklordtrom 00:47, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
Okay, I fixed the transfer picture for Pal Park. Pokemon486 01:02, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
And I deleted it because it was of low quality. Japanese pictures are preferred when their quality is superior to English pictures. —darklordtrom 01:05, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
Well if you can find a high-quality English picture, be my guest and put it up. I can easily get any high-quality picture from Generation III though, so that would be easier if there are any articles like that. Pokemon486 01:12, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
You'll have to find them yourself. We are tending to go towards GenIV screenshots, though, so I'm not sure how much use they would be. —darklordtrom 01:14, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

My bad

I don't even remember those tiny little edits there. I must've accidentally deleted something while scrolling down the page. Thanks for the fix. - unsigned comment from TheLastCharmander (talkcontribs)

No problem. —darklordtrom 05:34, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Dialga pic

Hey Trombonator. I think you should take a look at this. It's the "in the anime" section. --Hmdwgf 07:58, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Can you find me a decent screenshot?. I'll replace it. Same goes for Palkia. —darklordtrom 08:10, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
Can't we just use the ones on these pages? --Hmdwgf 21:22, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
I was hoping for something a little more unique. I did realise why those images are there now; tc26 moved the file without realising himself that it was used on these pages then uploaded a new file in its place. I'll just put the original image (that matches the caption). —darklordtrom 21:30, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Edit request

In Moltres's page, in the trivia section, it says "Zaptos" instead of "Zapdos". Could you please change that? Turtwig A Contributions Talk 21:39, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Ehhhh... I'd been instructed that we weren't meant to touch the pages to make it easier for any possible future conversion. The only changes we're meant to be making are those that fix broken things. Bad spelling =/= broken site. Sorry. Not long to wait now though. —darklordtrom 22:05, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
Nah, we can edit the pages to fix stuff, but we'll let the protection expire on its own. TTEchidna 02:56, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

Hey Trom...

Since I haven't been here much recently because my computer was dead, I'm just guessing that this is normal for everybody now. Haven't been to the RC for a few days, so I wanted to know. R.A. Hunter Blade 21:54, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I put that there to give general users some idea of what they can do to help (coz no one ever goes to the main page, seriously) and to show admins a quick view of what tasks need doing. If you ever find anything you think should be up there, bring it to me. (And I'm guessing you thought you were seeing sysop-exclusive stuff? Sorry... all you get when you're adminned are extra tabs looking a bit like these). Hope your computer likes being alive again :) —darklordtrom 21:59, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
Haha, okay. And I did think that for the first 3 seconds, but then I remembered that I had been on about an hour ago, and nothing special had been told to me. I woulda seen it on my e-mail anyways. And it does like being alive again. It's only a little slower though, but it should get back to normal soon. R.A. Hunter Blade 22:06, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Trom,

I've recently noticed that the articles for Pokémon (i.e.:Blastoise, Alakazam, etc.) have become blocked by everyone except editors. This gets me pissed because I often find mistakes on these pages and can do nothing to edit them. So I wanna know why this just happened. Thanks. --TheLastCharmander 20:55, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

They're blocked to everybody except admins, not editors. Everybody here is an editor. And yeah, a lot of pages have mistakes. They've been protected because of the recent iPhone application problem. Although the problem has probably been solved, they're still protected just in case. R.A. Hunter Blade 21:01, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
LOL yeah I meant admins. And oh the whole iPhone controversy. It just sucks because having a lot of knowledge of the games and anime, I can add a bunch of stuff and fix it up. Any chance of the block being removed in the near future?--TheLastCharmander 21:10, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
The pages might be unprotected sometime in November (that's what I've heard) until then, if there's an error on a Pokémon page that's really bugging you, you can always put an edit request on the talk page. ZestyCactus 21:13, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
I would ask TTE about all this, but his talk page is jammed. He seems to be a mysterious guy. And yeah I can request, but I don't get contributions for that. (and most of my contributions were the blocked pages)--TheLastCharmander 21:16, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
If this is just about your edit count, which it shouldn't be, then just wait until they get unprotected. R.A. Hunter Blade 21:17, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
Your edit count isn't the most important thing in the world, y'know ;) maybe check out pages needing cleanup, incomplete articles, or wanted pages if you're looking for something to do? ZestyCactus 21:19, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
No it's not my edit count! I love Pokémon too much to care only about that. I mean it was my childhood dude! (: Edit count is just something I want to be relatively high for awards or becoming an editor (which is stuff I want to do).- unsigned comment from TheLastCharmander (talkcontribs)

(resetting indent) You keep confusing "editor" with "admin"... everyone here is an editor. I'm an editor, you're an editor. :P And seriously quality contributions are waaaaay more important than having a high edit count or getting on the Top Contributors list. ZestyCactus 21:30, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

Ah! There I go again mate! I've been up late recently because I've started to work on a screenplay, you see, so I'll be mixing words up a bit. But you get what I mean, by moving up in the Bulbagarden society. And that's cool I read ya on that one. It would be cool to win the Golden Eevee since I'm new here.--TheLastCharmander 21:39, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
Firstly, thank you all so much for the fifteen emails in my inbox. That's exactly how I like to start my day. Secondly, wanting to win awards kinda-sorta puts you in the category that isn't going to win them. We give awards and recognition to those people who have been giving service to Bulbapedia, for the sake of Bulbapedia. If your only reason to edit is so that you can look good then you can forget any chance of getting anything. Bulbapedia is a community project. Put yourself out there and give everything all your effort. Don't just do it to look good or to move up in the society. That's just plain wrong. In case no one realised, edit count means nothing. To be a true top contributor, take a look at the quality of your edits. See that new box on the RecentChanges? It's a measure of how complete Bulbapedia is. There are 2,600 stubs. There are 126 articles that don't meet the quality standards. There are over 900 articles that need improvement in one way or another. The Pokémon pages are protected, yes: but there are over 15,000 non-protected articles and 99 times out of 100 these are the ones that need fixing! To everyone that stalks the RecentChanges and doesn't do a hell of a lot else: throw yourself on the line, go do some research for crying out loud and get those numbers down! If you're hanging out for the Golden Bulbas to be handed out then you may be waiting a lot longer - we can only hand them out when people have actually put some solid effort in. —darklordtrom 23:05, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
Oh well sorry if I offended, mate. The awards and the admin position aren't my top priority, I just said they would be cool to get. I haven't been able to make large edits to stubs or bad articles lately because I've been backed up in writing my screenplay, and studying, and giving guitar lessons, and playing in my band. I'll try to get on one of those stubs if I can. Once again, sorry mate.--TheLastCharmander 02:30, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
It wasn't directed straight at you. More of a general stab in the guts to every member of the community. Yes, that's right. You there. Reading this. Go fix something. *brandishes broomstick* —darklordtrom 07:50, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

VS Sprites

Can we add them for R/S/E? I know they're simply zoomed-in Trainer sprites, but it's an idea worth looking into. ht14 01:09, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

*jabs talkpage stalking admins with a stick* I'm not coming on AIM until Tuesday (your Monday). Discuss. We did it for the Orange Leaders if precedent is what you're looking at... —darklordtrom 11:02, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
If I recall corrently, the Gen III VS sprites weren't the greatest quality... Probably because, as you said, they're simply zoomed-in Trainer sprites. --electAbuzzzz 11:11, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Oh, those things. I thought you meant make new ones by zooming in. Which is probably a better option really. —darklordtrom 11:12, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
We could give it a shot, but the quality will still be crap. --electAbuzzzz 11:20, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Never said it wouldn't be :P I think someone uploaded the GenIII official art, so that could be a good starting point. —darklordtrom 11:23, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

Template:Qi JT POké BB de W N color

About this page, you deleted it saying where would it be used. I was going to use it in an article which I was editing, as I thought that Qi JT POké BB de W N would be better to use than Glitch in the move table, as that is the move's type. --SnorlaxMonster 10:36, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

Would it be possible to just use the glitch color template but write the full name of the type? —darklordtrom 10:38, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
I'll try, I'm not sure if it is. --SnorlaxMonster 10:48, 29 October 2009 (UTC) It's not working for me. Maybe there's some trick to it.
Save the page. Lemme see the mess. —darklordtrom 10:52, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Already saved it. It's TM17, the type is currently glitch, it should be Qi JT POké BB de W N.--SnorlaxMonster 10:55, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
Ok, for that infobox set up it's already programmed to only do pretty colors if it's one of the seventeen real types. If you put anything else in there (i.e. Qi JT POké BB de W N, or PokéManiac, or even my username) it will come up with the glitch color. We should be good now. —darklordtrom 11:00, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
It still doesn't work. Try editing a page like .4.--SnorlaxMonster 01:49, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
There is a workaround there to have a display type as well as a type colored background. I'm not really sure how it works because I didn't set it up. I'm assuming that's what you're getting at. —darklordtrom 03:37, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
I made an edit request on it. I'd do it myself, but I have no idea how. --SnorlaxMonster 04:33, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

Purpose...

... of Template:Swipe move effects... I'm not sure when you joined and became an admin, but this goes way back. I don't see the point of this... ht14 03:50, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

It would appear it was used to set up move pages back in the dark ages. Don't worry - it won't bother you again. —darklordtrom 03:56, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

Since TTE's page is protected....

I'll just ask you. Can you (or another admin) talk to Maxim? I made a few edits, and he takes my head off for it, just because I'm trying to help. He also used the edit summaries of the Rocket Admin's pages to treat me like crap. R.A. Hunter Blade 04:55, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

Sure. I'll take a look at the situation. —darklordtrom 01:29, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
Reply. And thanks. Sorry to keep coming to you for nearly everything. R.A. Hunter Blade 05:22, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

This strange message...

Ever since this morning, I keep getting a message at the very stop of the screen that makes the whole screen weird. When I refresh the page, it goes away until i go to another page. Normally, this wouldn't bother me, but the same message appears 2 to 50 (!) times on my bublapedia screen (this ain't an exageration).

The message is this: Warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: Permission denied in /home/themozz/public_html/bulbawiki/codebase-common/includes/GlobalFunctions.php on line 2012

I clicked on the function.mkdir, but the page doesn't exist? I'm confused. Is there something wrong with my computer?

I've been getting these messages on a few pages as well. I wonder if these messages and Bulbapedia's downtime last night are linked somehow? --Shiningpikablu252 15:05, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

O, thank god, i thought I was the only one gettin them. I thought like my computer had a virus and wouldnt let me on bulbapedia. I didnt no bulbapedia had downtime, so that kinda makes sense i guess? Littlmiget123 15:11, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

function.mkdir doesn't exist as a page because it isn't supposed to be a page, it's a php function. So I don't suggest clicking that link (I have no idea why it's supplied as a link in warning messages in the first place :|).
I only have a cursory knowledge of php, though, so I can't really tell what the problem is (not that I'd be able to help much even if I did!). If I were to guess, I'd say there's something wrong with the permissions, but at this point I'm not doing much more than saying random crap and hoping I sound smart. Just sit tight and someone who knows what they're doing will fix it. 梅子 15:22, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
Okay, the reason we were down last night was because someone overloaded the server. Totally not me. *cough*. Sorry guys. It seems to be fixed now, right? I'm not seeing any kind of message. —darklordtrom 01:31, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

PNG

What's up with the images? They're so... distorted all of a sudden... ht14 03:19, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

Yeah I noticed that too. The boxart on Pokémon Platinum is a good example.. ZestyCactus 03:21, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
I really don't notice anything different. Distorted how? Like, stretched? Fuzzy? —darklordtrom 03:24, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
Low quality... it's not usually like this... fuzzy.. ht14 03:24, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
I have no idea. The only times I've been on wiki today is to answer these talk page responses when I get the email. —darklordtrom 03:27, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
I'm here even less that you. Ask Archaic, or zhen. I have no idea. MaverickNate 03:30, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

Edit requests

Sigh, I've had enough of edit requests of mine going repeatedly unnoticed, so I guess I can get those edits through only by nagging an admin (and you're the lucky winner today) :p Please see Talk:Chansey (Pokémon)#Edit request, Talk:Tentacool (Pokémon)#Since it's locked..., Talk:Magikarp (Pokémon)#Since it's locked... and Template talk:Character palette#Please at least, I don't remember if I had made other requests, if I did, I'll put them here as well. UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 10:24, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

Shiningpikablu252 took care of the Chansey page, the other three are still open, though. UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 15:11, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
Well no one was meant to be touching the Pokémon pages full stop (thanks for the Pokéthlon template update, guys). No less harm can be caused by editing now, I guess. Regarding the character palette; I don't speak enough code to understand what you want. If you can write it out in full I'll be happy to put it on the page. —darklordtrom 21:37, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, thanks. What I want for the character palette to be done is that here in the first line
<div style="margin-top: 15px; background-color: #f8f8f8; border: 1px solid #999; padding: 0px 0.2em;">
the bolded part here would be added:
<div style="margin-top: 15px; background-color: #f8f8f8; border: 1px solid #999; padding: 0px 0.2em;" id="charpalette">
That should do the trick. UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 11:56, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

New pic

I got a better pic of Professor Oak's laboratory. It's on the actual page, I just need you to put it on the main page. --Hmdwgf 03:03, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

Remove the black bars and we have a deal. —darklordtrom 03:05, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
OK, but it's already on the main page, so I never needed to ask you in the first place. But a pic without the black bars would be better, no doubt. --Hmdwgf 03:09, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
Alright, I fixed it. Is it good enough? --Hmdwgf 03:18, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

Why does Bulbapedia hate AOL?

My real e-mail is on AOL, but I never get the confirmation message (not in my inbox, spam, etc.). That is why I had the account LugiaRider before. Why does the confirmation code never come? It appears for Gmail. -LugiaRocks (TalkEdits) 03:25, 3 November 2009 (UTC)

(Trom's not here right now) wow, i didnt know anyone still used AOL. ill check with some people on this issue. -- MAGNEDETH 03:28, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
Thanks. A ton of people have AOL now mainly because of AIM. -LugiaRocks (TalkEdits) 03:30, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
well, you can use AIM without having AOL...but anyway, im looking into it. -- MAGNEDETH 03:34, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
ok, turns out that AOL is anti-confirmation mail. its a problem thats plagued every site in existence since the beginning of AOL. AOL hates the internet, and the internet hates AOL. -- MAGNEDETH 03:55, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
Okay - so it is impossible to confirm emails on AOL? I did it with SPP Forums. -LugiaRocks (TalkEdits) 04:00, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, there are issues with AOL. We've been down this track before. They aren't our issues, they're AOL issues. General rule of thumb is, uh, don't use it. —darklordtrom 04:05, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
not impossible so to speak, just hit or miss on websites. its pretty much whatever AOL wants to let through. -- MAGNEDETH 04:06, 3 November 2009 (UTC)

Questionnnnnnn

Hey Trom (or whoever happens upon this who can answer, Trom was the first who came to mind though so here I am), got a little question.

Since the lockdown of the Pokemon articles I've been keeping a page of dex entries to be added after they're unlocked.* I was thinking that I might as well (finally) go about and make edit requests on the appropriate talk pages, because hey, I had no reason not to, but with the upcoming maintenance would it just make more work for the admins at this point?

tl;dr: should I go ahead and make the edit requests now, or should I wait until after maintenance is done?

Thanks! 梅子 20:29, 3 November 2009 (UTC)

The pages will unlock themselves on November 15. If you want to wait until then, you can, but I'm happy to put the entries on the pages for you if you can't wait. —darklordtrom 04:31, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
I see you're going and making those edit requests of mine now! Thanks a bunch, and sorry there are so many. XD 梅子 01:03, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

Dumb Question

This is proabably a dumb question, but is it alright to edit now? Littlmiget123 23:11, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

This is probably a dumb answer, but yeah you can edit any page that isn't locked (i.e. the Pokémon pages). The protection on them will expire in nine days time. —darklordtrom 03:48, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

Sorry

I read your warning and I want any more. But can you enable pokemon pages (like bulbasaur (pokemon)) so I can edit it.--Branfili 08:01, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

They will be unlocked on November the fifteenth. There are more than 15,000 other articles you are welcome to edit, though. —darklordtrom 08:02, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

Confirmed

But It's been confirmed there will be a Pokemon Movie 13 . So Why Did my article get deleted ? Mr.Anonymous

No it has not been confirmed, it is mere speculation.--ForceFire 10:07, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
When the official announcement is made, we will make the article then. We don't have the article for DP160 yet even though it is highly likely it will happen. —darklordtrom 10:10, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

Why do they have it on the official japanese movie site then ?

[3] [4] - unsigned comment from Mr.Anonymous (talkcontribs)

Yeah, I don't do Japanese.... the point is that no official confirmation has been given yet. We've known there has been a third movie in the works for a while; it was hinted at at the end of Number 12. But there is so little information it doesn't justify making an article yet. Bulbapedia does have standards of quality and also takes care to not post articles before any official announcement has been made. Take note of the example I gave earlier; this is the exact same thing we're talking about. —darklordtrom 10:20, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

I'm not trying to be rude but If you go on http://www.pokemon-movie.jp/ and watch the video it has the number 2010 and it shows Lugia and Ho-Oh . Which means there has to be a 13th Movie. And On Wikipedia It even says " : It is the thirteenth Pokemon Movie. It features Lugia and Ho-Oh from Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver."

PS. If it's confirmed can i make the article then ? - unsigned comment from Mr.Anonymous (talkcontribs)

Judging by the similarities between the two articles (your deleted one; the Wikipedia one) you either plagiarized or you wrote them both. That doesn't do a lot to make it more credible, btw. The video actually crashed my browser, but simply having Ho-Oh and Lugia does not mean there will be a movie. They could appear in the anime for all we know. I've told you already (and so has Kenji-girl) that Bulbapedia has high quality standards. The article is not allowed at present time. —darklordtrom 10:32, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

I wasn't trying to be rude . But When it's confirmed . Can I make the article then ?- unsigned comment from Mr.Anonymous (talkcontribs)

Maybe. —darklordtrom 10:37, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

Okay. Sorry for all the confusion - unsigned comment from Mr.Anonymous (talkcontribs)

Woah, wait, sorry to get in on this conversation, but how is the next movie considered speculation? Not saying that the movie 13 page should be made quite yet, but as the website listed above says, "2010年夏 劇場公開決定" means that it's been decided to hit theaters in summer 2010. How is that not confirmation? (Yaminokame 11:21, 7 November 2009 (UTC))

Another Question

Am I allowed to EDIT Pages ?

EXAMPLE : Like this

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/w/index.php?title=Sheer_Cold_(move)&diff=prev&oldid=924959

Mr.Anonymous.

Can you be more specific? please?--ForceFire 11:27, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

I wrote that Smeargle was the only normal type Pokemon to learn Sheer Cold ?.Is That Allowed ? Mr.Anonymous

You're more than welcome to edit Bulbapedia articles. Some changes, though, aren't really necessary. Smeargle is capable of learning every single move. There are a lot of moves of which it is the only Normal-type Pokémon to be able to learn them - and it doesn't learn them naturally, either. There isn't really a lot of point mentioning that. —darklordtrom 03:36, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

Sorry

Thamk you and sorry for deleting the welcome section on my talk page! No harm meant! I will Archive it when the talk page gets larger. Sorry and thank you again! From Samjohn95 19:12, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

Stub Status

After a user told me that only admins were able to take away stub statuses, I was left completely unsure of whether I could/n't relieve Power of its status. It says in "Find or Fix a Stub" that "If you saw that message on the article, but the article is developed well beyond stub status, please feel free to remove the tag.", However, I have made one or two mistakes already and want to make double sure. Sorry to bug, thank you, from Samjohn95 01:42, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

I'm actually as misleaded as you are, but this one guy told me that only the featured stub can have its status removed. Whoops. Alpha CuboneKing 01:45, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
I basically consider a stub to be an article with only a few lines of text. If it has lots of sections, and lots of information, and maybe you have to scroll down a bit to read it, then it's not a stub. Some incomplete articles are mistakenly tagged as stubs. If you see any that are not stubbish but are still lacking in information then by all means update that status. —darklordtrom 03:38, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

Regarding the Super Effective article...

I recently contacted Scott Ramsoomair and asked him a few questions regarding this comic strip. I think it would be a good idea to include this in the article and would really expand it. What do you think?--TheLastCharmander 20:02, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

Sure. I'm assuming this was by email; may I see a copy of it? —darklordtrom 06:39, 9 November 2009 (UTC)
See your talk page; reply there please. —darklordtrom 09:33, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

POWER PLANT

On Serebii It says that Zapdos can only be caught after all 16 badges have been aquired in HeartGold and SoulSilver . I edited it to that but the someone edited it back ? Can I please reedit it ?

Mr.Anonymous

More stuff on Super Effective.

Hey Trom,I never did get positive feedback from you if I was allowed to put the info on the article or not. And if you did send it to me, it might have gotten corrupted and I didn't receive it (blame the crappy internet quality in Florida for that one). So to put this whole issue at rest, can I put that information of the interview on the article?--TheLastCharmander 00:06, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

How's that worded for you?darklordtrom 04:33, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
Oh nice job on putting it in there mate. I'm glad we finally got everything onto the article.--TheLastCharmander 06:54, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

New Blastoise pic

There's a new pic I wanted to put in the Blastoise section. The one I wanted to replace is quite grainy and .jpg. a:File:Shellshocker.png --Hmdwgf 14:54, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

When you link to images with a textlink, please put the little "a" in front of them to stop them appearing on the WantedPages list. The "a" gives a direct link to the Archives. —darklordtrom 19:39, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

If you have a moment

Hi Trom, I wanted to speak to you about something sort of important. What would be the best way? Thanks. –MasterKenobi 15:42, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

Special:Emailuser/The dark lord trombonator or PM over the forums. If you have AIM you can also give me your name and we can chat at a mutually convenient time.... now is not a mutually convenient time, but if I'm on BP later in the day I'll be on AIM too. —darklordtrom 19:36, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
I PM'ed you Trom. Thanks. –MasterKenobi 20:51, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

Talk Welcomes

Who is allowed to add the "welcome" template to people's talk pages? Thanks, Samjohn95 13:11, 15 November 2009 (UTC)

Anybody is allowed to welcome a new user. Trom's just greedy and scoops a fair number up for himself ;) - Kogoro | Talk to me - 13:21, 15 November 2009 (UTC)

Thanks a lot

Just saying thanks to the help you've been giving me lately. I feel like such a noob when it comes to this wiki kind of stuff- I'm more comfortable on forums. Sometimes I get confused on how to do things around here. Just saying thanks because you're usually the one to help me.--Angrysmurf 23:24, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

Tis what I do. I'm always happy to those in need of assistance (provided they ask nicely, of course). —darklordtrom 23:44, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

Project Leader Hiring

Have you chosen a Project Leader for Project Games, I'm very curious.--MeDeoPal 17:46, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

If we had it would have been announced. —darklordtrom 20:32, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

Plates

The reason that it does not refer to the Dragon Trio is this: It is talking about what binds together Time and Space, which is most defiantly a reference to the Lake Trio and the unused in-game item, the Red Chain.

"Two beings of time and space set free from the Original One." "Three beings were born to bind time and space." "Two make matter and three make spirit, shaping the world."

It doesn't even make sense to be the Dragon Trio just in the way it is worded. It's supposed to be a story, therefore two were created from the original one, and then three were born to bind them (which is why they had to create the red chain, because the Lake Trio binded time and space. Then the next line says that the five of them together shaped the world.

そのもの じかん くうかんの 2ひき ぶんしんとして よに はなつ そのもの じかん くうかんを つなぐ 3びきの ポケモンをも うみだす 2ひきに もの 3びきに こころ いのり うませ せかい かたちづくる

By the Japanese, the Dragon Trio CAN'T be the reference. It wouldn't make sense the way it is worded. 2 were created from the original one, THEN in addition three were born. It HAS to be the lake trio. Please revert it. (Yaminokame 06:07, 20 November 2009 (UTC))

Thanks for the explanation. I'll take your word for it. —darklordtrom 06:11, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
Thank you :) Should I put an explanation of that under the discussion just so that other people know the reason it was changed? (Yaminokame 06:16, 20 November 2009 (UTC))
It should be good. —darklordtrom 06:24, 20 November 2009 (UTC)

Opinions

Why must you continue reverting the page "Filler episode" to the biased opinion of one person, if you cannot accept my opinions on D/P why accept the opinions of others on Johto? This is an injustice, either accept my opinion or stick to the objective factsJoshewuu 04:22, 21 November 2009 (UTC)Joshewuu

1) Add new sections to the bottom of talk pages, 2) do not edit in ~~~~ if you forget it, as that inserts an incorrect timestamp; instead add [username], 3) the paragraph you wished to remove is not worded so well in some places, but it does contain facts and should not be removed completely, as you were doing. On that note, 4) plz don't edit war.
And 5) DP sucking is definitely an unbiased fact, right? 梅子 04:33, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

Why

If there is any block or anything give me a response why you deleted my question, you haven't even responded, You have not even sent a proper comment or statement justifying your actions, I am a quite meticulous individual and I can realize a bias, yet you cannot respond to my question!!-Joshewuu

He went to go eat dinner: everyone has to eat, and not everyone spends all day at the computer. just wait a while and you'll get a response. MaverickNate 04:41, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

Whatever! I did not get owned, because your comments mean nothing, unless this is fixed, I do not care what you do! - unsigned comment from Joshewuu (talkcontribs)

Righteo then.
Nothing has been deleted. It has been moved to the bottom of the page where it belongs. Additionally, I was away having dinner. I do have a life outside of this site, despite what most people may think. Now, let's examine that article.
Firstly, you removed the whole Johto paragraph. Big no-no. That contained relevant information about the number of filler episodes that were used at the end of the season, as well as reasoned analysis about why they were included. That's a good thing. It never states that Johto inherently sucks, nor does it state that Sinnoh is pwningly cool. While I agree that the section does need to be rewritten to some extent, deleting paragraphs you disagree with was not the way to do it. That was why I—and others—reverted your edits (as well as the fact that you added Sinnoh-bias).
Now regarding your block. Maverick Nate was not being mean to you; he was explaining on my behalf that I was away from my desk; we had previously been communicating on AIM and he did so under my instructions because I simply did not have the time to. I am not from the same time zone as you; please bear that in mind. Retorting in the way you did was somewhat uncivil which is why I gave you that brief block. You are welcome to return in a little under three days, after which I hope your attitude has changed to something more productive.
And regarding your email: I am curious to know what I wrote that offended you so much. —darklordtrom 08:44, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

Hey trom!

Make that ten. MaverickNate 04:56, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

*blocks for talk page abuse* :P —darklordtrom 08:45, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

international VAs

They're fine on the orphaned pages list for the simple reason that their deletion is a matter of time. Once their Project Globe pages are created, they'll be redirected. --electAbuzzzz 10:47, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

Ah, okay. I'll assume you've undone my revisions now then. *sulks* —darklordtrom 07:43, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
Nah, I didn't bother undoing it, I'll just wait until those Globe articles are created... Just wanted to tell you so that you'll know to ignore them from now on ^^ --electAbuzzzz 12:00, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

So I was going through the block log for the lulz...

I was just curious: does the We've reached our monthly quota of new users actually mean what it says, or is it just a funny message the admins use for whatever reason? Frugali 01:32, 30 November 2009 (UTC)

Funny block reason. It's used if it's blatantly obvious why a user has been blocked (permanently), mostly to discourage them to go away. —darklordtrom 04:17, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

Pictures on Bulbapedia

I just have a quick question. I've been noticing that alot of the pictures on bulbapedia are... strange? The look it I mean. Kinda blocky, pixely? Does this have something to do with the message I kept getting over the screen when I was on the website yesturday, the 'error code 20221' or whatever it is? Littlmiget123 16:41, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, that error code (from what I can make out and have been told) is to do with images. If it hasn't been fixed already, I'm sure there will be people working on it and you have no need to worry. —darklordtrom 21:21, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
Okay, thanks. Littlmiget123 21:30, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

pokemon in nz.

hi, just keen to know if you've started any pages related to this.As its been a while since ive done any edits.Thanks.--Solid! 09:14, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

I unfortunately have not had the time to do so yet. —darklordtrom 22:02, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

protected pages

I just want to ask if any Bulbapedia articles such as a article on a old Pokemon episode or one on say pokemon blue game. Will ever become protected if all the information required is their , and no more needs to be added? thanks --Solid! 10:56, 8 December 2009 (UTC)

We don't normally protect pages just because they're "old" or "complete". Someone may always have something to add or correct. It's a community project, and everyone is allowed to edit any page, unless there's a specific reason to protect it. --electAbuzzzz 13:51, 8 December 2009 (UTC)

Protection of the page on future generations

Future generations of Pokémon was protected by you while everyone thought that TPCi had announced generation 5 on twitter. Now that we know that the announcement was a fake, can we please unprotect the page? Kidburla 21:09, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

Aw, I knew I forgot to do something. Cheers. —darklordtrom 21:30, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

Usertag proposal

Hello Trom. Just to let you know, I am proposing this usertag:
User:Andros 1337/User No Tiers

I would like to get approval on it before I can move it to the Template space. I hope you can help here. Thanks. Andros 1337 05:15, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

Approved. —darklordtrom 05:31, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

Thank You

I would like to personally thank you for fixing the Pokémon pages that were affected by someone messing with the template. Seeing Missingno always seems to shock me due it the appearance. Thanks again. Super goku 23:13, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

I was wondering, are you an administrator? The reason I asked is because this page5 has not been fixed. It was the main reason as you know, but I was wondering if you could edit it, so everything reverts back to normal and all the pokemon display the correct information Super goku 00:41, 16 December 2009 (UTC)

Yes, Trom is an admin. That page you linked to is supposed to show as Missingno as that is the default for the template. That way if something is missed it makes it a bit more obvious. The reason all the pages were temporarily showing Missingno is that (I assume) the admins were changing the pages and template back to what it was before the iPhone app fiasco, and so the parameters for the pages and the template didn't match up. Werdnae (talk) 00:55, 16 December 2009 (UTC)
That must explain it. For a while I believed someone hacked the template for some reason or another. Thanks for explaining thar Werdnae. Super goku 03:54, 16 December 2009 (UTC)
It's not often people thank me for breaking the server. I think I like it. 495 edits in 67 minutes is an extreme effort. Good job, team. Let's do it again tomorrow, same time, same place. —darklordtrom 04:40, 16 December 2009 (UTC)
